The proposal is simple - add stick mag PPSh-45 at BR 3 . Soviets only have one submachine gun available at BR 3, so adding some variety wouldn’t hurt.
In terms of stats, stick mag version will be equal to box-magazine variant, except for the reloading speed, which should be slightly faster than that of the stick mag 1941 model. As a nice bonus, you could also give it an extra magazine thanks to its lighter weight.
Following that logic, we should remove certain branches for all nations. We have plenty of weapons that were never used in combat or were used very limitedly. If you don’t like them, simply don’t use them—no one’s forcing you.
Fedorov was used by the Moscow militia in 1941 in limited numbers. Additionally, it was issued to some border guard units along the Manchurian-Japanese border.
But more importantly, if Fedorov Avtomat was implemented in a more realistic way (e.g. flimsy and delicate WW1 design chambered in Arisaka round with significant recoil (BR 1-2)) instead of “proto-AK-lasergun-Berlin-dominator”, I wouldn’t probably hate it so much.
haha you know what, if they actually also add PPSh-45 stick mag AND it also gets broken OP dispersion like PPSH 41 stick mag I would be adding even more check marks on my “Soviet bias” list.
I feel this won’t add much to the Soviet TT. A stick mag PPSH-45 would play exactly like the stick mag PPSH-41. What the soviets need is more variety in what the weapon does, e.g. AS-44 vs Federov vs PPSH.
