Moscow totally not ruined by introducing stg-44 in what is supposed to be ealry war unknown.png (711×144) (discordapp.com)
yeah, this one is as left field as it gets - this is the “Jumbo” equivalent of the Normandy campaign for infantry…
«Just flank the STG bro»
seems like a bad score vs that many deaths mate
lone fighters and besides the point
butthurt kraut mumbling
By far the best answer on this forum till this day.
wonder why you don’t have any questions about the balance, at the level of German stormtroopers of the 3rd rank? beretta 38 with 20 rounds, against ppsh 41 with 71 rounds and a fire rate under 1000 fire rate? MKD 42 IS NOT A WEAPON OF STORMTROOPERS, BUT SNIPERS, STOP WHINING ABOUT “BALANCE” IN MOSCOW! IN THE GAME, THE RUSSIANS WERE GIVEN A LOT OF THE BEST PP, PTRS, SVT FOR A SNIPER, AND MANY OTHER OPPORTUNITIES, BUT THE MKD 42 IS A “HORROR” FOR WEAKLINGS WHO INCREASE THEIR “SELF-ESTEEM” THROUGH THE SUFFERING OF POOR GERMANS.
I dont think the current topic is about balance or what ever.
But more about an introduction of a weapon that wasn’t even avaiable on the Moscow campaign.
I understand prototypes or weapons like the m2hyde that didn’t saw usage in the game. But they were avaiable irl. Something that could saw some limited use But a gun that wasn’t even made on the campaign period or tested…
everything suits me. When the Soviets were given a Kalashnikov pp , no one was confused, but when it was necessary to give a normal weapon to the Germans (and not a damn beretta with 20 rounds!) everyone remembered about “historicism”.
I’m beginning to doubt it’s only Moscow anymore. Could it in fact be in the general russian field instead, spanning the duration of the war? Will we see kursk from the moscow theater? I’m not certain of anything by now 🤷
Indeed… As we current see more levels (maps) on normandy besides the costal ones. It’s highly probable. But campaigns shall be named accordingly.
Like west campaign or east… North Africa… What ever… So we could see even more toys that could be justified…
Some of us were. But our feedback about it was in vain. As many things right now.
Same for m1 m2 carbine on normandy
M2 hyde
Mp40/1
Chaffee
Jumbo
And so on
But they are here to stay.
Also. If I may, I remember reading about the valentines tank production.
The mk1 wasn’t lendleased to the red army. All other valentine.s were.
Yet, we have a valentine mk1 on the premium squad right now.
soviets did use lend lease mkIII valentines I tanks. In fact, that was the variant they got in the most numbers and they actually participated in the battle for Moscow
mkb42 ordered and tested before end of battle of moscow, same as jumbo
Many of us scorned the PPK as an a-historic nonsense - you might try doing a little searching.
I believe the first Valentines sent to the USSR were Mk II’s - which still had the 2-man turret eg see Tank Archives: Lady with a Thick Skin
The 3 man turret came about with the Mk III
yup that’s right. lend-lease was valentine II and onwards. Not sure why I thought they shipped out valentine I too.
Can’t check at he moment - but what Valentine models are there in WT?
The I is a better approximation of hte II than hte III is
