Hello to forum Users My suggestion as the title mentions enlisted must standarize the Jets Turning rate because the following reasons:
1- Is unrealistic to beggin with i’m 100% sure that ww2 irl Jets turn way slower than 13-16 seconds also add the fact that most Jets except the ME262 we’re nothing but prototypes so no… Saying that this is a fair turning rate cuz HA reason is not valid
2- the other reason is the Game balance factor, all the Jets have insanelly good features such as the kikka with 800kg bomb or the Me262 with high explosive cannons, the Su-9 with Anti tank capabilities, and meteor with not 1 but 2 bombs which is very good for ground support
But here comes the reg flag, the Main why Meteor even if is the slowest of all Jets still being the Best all because it’s turning rate of 13 secs compared to 15 that kikka and 16 that me262 and Su-9 have which make all the other Jets look pointless when You have a plane that have both dogfigth skils and ground support aswell
Also if anyone says that Meteor is the slowest of all and thats why it has the Best turning rate remember that speed does not matter when it comes to Jets since bullets Will catch You anyways when they got the minimal chance to
So My suggestion to make Jets Unique and balanced is to standarize their turn rate to the same number don’t touch their armament since i don’t look it as a problem but as a features that make all Jets unique
Honestly jets are too OP.
They are much faster than prop planes, but still turn as fast, carry heavier bombs and have better climb rates.
Jets should be cool, very fast interceptors that take out careless fighter planes and bombers flying in a staright line, but should be absolutely out turned by all prop aircraft.
Jets just make BR5 less diverse since they just made every other aircraft obsolete.
Since jets already have fantasy stats, they should be standardized with only small differences between them.
Speed around 860-890 km/h
Turn rate 21-22s
Climb rate: 22-24 m/s
For all in game jets, there is room to be unique but it’s still very fair.
This way, prop aircraft can out turn them in dogfights, but jets could out run and out climb them, but never out turn them.
Me262 is a good template for balancing as I believe both it and Bf109 K-4 are pretty viable options with 262 being faster and less nimble while K-4 offers better dogfighting capabilities but is slower and carries lower bombload
Su9 seems underpowered, I’ve rarely seen anyone fly it and people actually opt for I-185, La-7 and Tu-2S. And the Su9s I’ve encountered I dealt with relatively easily using both Me262 and K-4
Kikka is relatively strong but has little ammo and shitty sights. It also flies solo against the best fighter and the best attacker planes in the game
Meteor is just bonkers. It destroys jets, it destroys prop planes, it has the best loadout. Completely OP imo
Also the best turn time for Me262 18 seconds. Su9s: 18.16.
I’ve never had an issue dealing with Soviet and German jets as prop planes - it boils down to energy vs turn fighting like I did against Fw D-12 or other fast but not nimble planes on other BRs.
People still live within the Jet scare when they were first announced it seems
Meteor has been the sole exception with its fast AND nimble flying stats, there isn’t a single plane that can compare to it. Kikka is also there on the list of quite nimble jets but then again - it flies alone against two of the best planes in the game and has extremely limited ammo
There were so many alternatives to add, jets were absolutely un-necessary.
Absolute pain in the ass to deal with BR1 AA guns → Which leads to next problem, even before the Jets it was more than frequently suggested that there would be new BR 3-5 AA gun which got plenty of likes as well as dislikes. Now due to jets, the new more adequate AA gun is absolute must.
Honestly, as Jets were entirely un-necessary addition just remove bombs from each one of them and keep them as absolute fighter interceptors. This way they dont have to add new better AA guns to deal with them, which obviously would be used against prop planes as well.
Due to rather fast speed is extremely easy to destroy tanks before they even get to engagement range from spawn.

su-9 29sec
meteor 20 secs
and the kikka with 22.5 sec
this is according to wt stuff which is supposely to be as accurate as possible also this is common sense aswell, if a jet plane is insanelly fast it cant turn like a prop plane does cuz is not supposed to and the G forces aswell.
Also Meteor is a protoype the SU-9 is from 1946 the kikka was built on the last days of war but never used on combat the only HA plane here is the ME262 (which i always was against its introduction cuz i knew the other nonsense was going to be added aswell)
Other Jets really do not feel that powerful. I’ve played both K-4 and Me262 regurally and I believe them to be on similar power levels and therefore I use Me262 as a guideline for balancing jets
Meteor is beyond busted. It beats every plane in every department
Su9 is even underpowered imo. Nobody plays it but I’d have to get more games on it
