Stalingrad 8cm Mortar, impossible to use unless you unlock the paywall?
Is it me or am I missing something or have we been given something only Stalingrad paying players can use?

Yes the gun itself is f2p but you need they paywalled squad

Dont worry about paywalled equipment, if you buy the gold version of campaign tank or plane you can use them even if their campaign version is paywalled, the paywalled gun can be transfered from other campaigns, the one thing f2p cant use use is the mortar and one plane wo need a paywalled a squad

I’m pretty sure this pay wall will disappear eventually. Some hints are pointing to this:
1- Even those having paid for full access DID NOT want lvls to be locked for f2p users. We merely wanted xp boost and slashed bronze prices.
2- Devs themselves are allowing things like weapon transfer, and create gold order vehicles that are available for f2p, thus BYPASSING pay wall.
Maybe one day, it will be unlocked. Maybe…

Indeed.
Don’t get me wrong, I really like full access packs… However, they are flawed.
I’d like mix of Stalingrad and Pacific access pack: All the benefits of Stalingrad (x4 xp, almost maxed star weaponry and guys, reduced bronze and silver prices) BUT EVERYTHING unlocked for EVERYONE like for Pacific.
Because locked stuff is chasing players away. Nobody wants that. We don’t want to “look” exclusive or unique or above others, nobody cares for that. Just want time savers that allow use to enjoy campaigns at their fullest having unlocked everything already.
It’s why In Stalingrad I got back to using almost exclusively mannlichers, Mosin carbines (and Winchesters), pps42 and even mp28 (no joke! I have fun with mp28!)
Because I don’t have to try hard to maximize xp anymore, I can just enjoy it.

Pacific campaign pack is the worst campaign pack. No pre-load/CBT. No fast progression. Only 2 new kinds of armored vehicles. (Who cares about weapon/soldier levels. I have almost infinite bronze tickets.)
And the extreme unbalanced matches make me feels that I am paying dev to work for them.
Also, I dont care if that campaign has enough players. Both Tunis and Pacific have significant less players at my timezone than Stalingrad. Who cares those never want to pay? Even server network bandwidth cost money. The Stalingrad is the only attempt to make this game away from mobile cash grab+grind games. But F2Pers were too noisy and thus make the only way to shift away from cash grab failed. Also as such insisted F2Pers, they will never pay a buck to game. But leaving those who will pay the game if it works suffers.
Agree maybe a full time premium time on the campaign instead of the 4x exp pack (that dev understand is an overkill) can do the job
It wouldn’t be enough… as some ppl, like me, are pretty much already “perma-premium”…
If to some x4 seems too much (they want a challenge? Are masochistic and like interminable grind?) They could merely not buy it and keep playing the campaign the same way as the 4 original ones…
This pack should just be a “bonus”, like for Stalingrad x4 xp, without becoming a barrier with locked progression 
It´s a weaker artillery strike where the enemy doesn´t get a heads up. You can use it both on the defense and offensive too. I haven´t used nor seen the new mortars in action but they could be very useful if they really do much more damage.
I still miss the pre nerf mortars, yes they where too effective but it felt like you where actually a mortar team supporting your frontline.
I think it is because those player are already sick of early access since not many people bought the Tunisia pack. According to some people during the Tunisia CBT, there are player lacking problem.
There are also 2 infantry squad in it.
LOL, most people are lacking it .
CBT’s main attraction is for preload’s player to gain XP ahead of other players. Also for balance testing and other stuffs. Even without CBT, Tunis is still lacking players.
JP’s SMG is usable, but US’s SMG is a joke. Really. Also tired of premium squads.
I dont care. Only for my perspective. Also, seriously, current ticket system is already much easier to obtain bronze. Do you know how I went through the old system?

If Tunisia CBT is lacking player, I don’t think for Pacific it will work well.
It is easier to obtain nowadays doesn’t mean people have plenty of it.
New mortar is pretty good, it can kill tanks with a single hit and have a larger blast radius so even if you dont get a kill, you’ll be wounding them.
