Stacked Teams Are Ruining SoloQ

Plz do something about stacked teams.

This has been an issue since '21, and we’re still seeing stacked teams completely overwhelm us SoloQ players.

Unfortunately, I’ve decided to quit the game until something is done about it. It’s just not fun, and it’s definitely not fair.

Can we please get two separate queues for stacked and solo players?

While I do agree player squads(platoons?) should be at least somewhat equal in a game.

As a complete solo, I dont find it that big of an issue.

There are already plans about reworking rules for groups (stacks) Roadmap 2024 - News - Enlisted

Been stomped 5 games in a row by stacked teams, when i wrote this. And its really not fun when you win a fight, that someone shoots a cannon from the other end of the map, at a solid wall and kills you. Because hes buddy told him where to shoot. It feels like playing versus people that use ESP.

Im happy to hear that, because i love Enlisted, and i have been playing for years, but lately i run into a big increase of stacked players. And i reached a point where i had enough now.

Thats just the scouting mechanic, any team with more than 3 braincells to share, uses and abuses it, any tank that is marked should be dead within 10 seconds in an ideal world. I benefit off that as a solo too.

What are you talking about?

No tanks involved here at all.

I was infantry inside a building, and i shot the guy who came into the building, then hes buddy who had no vision on me or windows on hes side for that matter, shot a cannon at the wall and killed me who was on the other side, because he was told i was there.

But this is just an example, and even if you can find a good argument for “this is just a mechanic” It dosnt change the fact that soloQ players get stomped by stacked teams.

I mean no thats common sense, if you watch the guy in front of you get cut down the second he breaches a building, I too would also lob a 57/75mm HE “grenade” into that building. Though getting killed through a wall is very weird, I’ve survived 105mm and etc behind a wall.

I agree that player squads should ideally match against a squad of similar size, and then the rest of the team is made up of solo players like yourself or myself.

Though I dont think its that bad of an issue. still not great, but not that bad either. I’ve carried matches solo, and still do decently and even win against squads.

im not sure how i can be any more clear in what im saying, there was no way he could see the fight, or the guy getting shot by me.

Even if he didnt see his minimap and watch a friendly just disappear off the map, if you even hear gunfire from a building, its often a safe bet to slam a HE round inside.

issue is that you can’t get rid of it since queue syncing is something that will always be a thing

yea dont like it when those clanny are super coordinated i mean it make sense yeah but it overkill for a casual game tbh

adding a random (hidden) delay on ready press, lets say 0-15 secs would fix it

Im not sure if you are trolling at this point, or if you just need every thing explained into the slightest detail, i told you already 2 times now. (3 with this) there was no way he would/could have seen it (or heard it). And as i already said once aswell (please read the next part carefully). "But this is just an example, and even if you can find a good argument for “this is just a mechanic” It dosnt change the fact that soloQ players get stomped by stacked teams."

Now im done having this argument with you, you can go on if you have the need, but i will not reply. I have more important things to do than to repeat my self in every reply to you.

How can you be certain of it? For all we know it can make queue syncing easier, as well as the amount of time you need to rewrite the code for that and make sure it doesn’t break the game

How would a feature that makes syncing out of sync make syncing easier?
Adding a delay isnt really much code.

This is pretty much all the coding needed, so guess how much time it would take to implement that?

void onReadyButtonPressed() {
    int delay = random(0, 15)
    scheduleMatchmakingStart(delay)
}

void scheduleMatchmakingStart(int delaySeconds) {
    waitForSeconds(delaySeconds)
    startMatchmaking()
}

At the very least, they leave the game as soon as they start and realize that their “friends” are gone, which is certainly detrimental to the game as a whole.

I don’t know the technicalities, but a situation where multiple stacks are biased toward one team would be toxic.
