SS or NKVD UNITS

The units aren’t historical as they have weird dynamite packs, super medkits, and various foreign guns.

I meant all their names and even emblems . If you google them ten you will find out that all those units really participated on campaigns we have ingame. And all of them are Wehrmacht except one Fsllschirmjäger Division in Normandy (mortar squad)

Hence I said none are labelled as SS.

And call me cynical but I don’t think the various divisions ingame are historically accurate to their names lol.

Yeah, in the Republic of Germany the SS & Swastika are banned, how-ever this could be replaced with the Totenkopf (which was used as early as the Prussians) or a grenade & rifle. I believe personally that we should have SS and NKVD for accuracy, as NKVD were the interior ministry of the USSR at the time until its disbandment and conversion in 1946 (75 years ago). I also believe that there should be an uhh toggle option so if you are German or Polish or so on, you could disable Swastika’s etc.

Actually that is no longer true. In the BRD (Federal Republic of Germany) it is now allowed to show these symbols, emblems etc. in video games when they are placed in a historical context. This was already allowed in movies, art, history books etc. in the BRD for decades. Recently it was also allowed for video games in the BRD. And as a result several recently released games made in “the west” now include these symbols, emblems etc.

So the BRD is not really the issue here anymore.

The issue is the Russian Federation. Many draconian laws have been introduced there very recently that forbid showing more or less anything related to the German military. The results of that can be seen in Enlisted.

Now even eagles have been removed from German uniforms as can be seen in Enlisted. That is the result of recent laws in the Russian Federation and has nothing to do with the BRD.

So as a result of the most recent Russian Federation laws even eagles that have been on wine bottles for hundreds of years cannot be shown in video games etc. For example like those on wine bottles such as those from “Kloster Eberbach” (Monastery Eberbach). Eagles like these, even though they are hundreds of years old, are now no longer allowed to be shown on uniforms in games such as Enlisted. Here is a bottle of “Kloster Eberbach” wine with their centuries old brand eagle which has been on wine bottles from that region for hundreds of years:

Interestingly communist symbols are forbidden in many countries, even those countries where you can play Enlisted. The Russian Federation does not concern itself with the laws in other countries regarding communist symbols and thus communist symbols are always shown in video games published by Russian or White Russian companies.

Here is a map which shows in blue the countries where communist symbols etc. are forbidden:

The list includes Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Ukraine, Georgia, Indonesia.

That’s because deep down, at the very core of their being, they’re still communists.

As a Russian, I can say that here are no communists in modern capitalist Russia at all. There are more Nazi (German) lovers in Russia than Communists and even Social Democrats.

Then explain the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KПPФ) to us and how they hold almost 10% of the seats in the Duma and 8% of seats in regional parliaments?

Where are you from?

What does where I’m from have to do with my question? I’m generally curious how someone could believe there are no communists in Russia or any large country for that matter.
