you should be able to bring your eastern front squads to the normandie invasion, it makes little sense spending so much time grinding out a squad and then you can use it, or even the vehicles you’ve got
and while we’re at it, when you switch soldier it should prioritize one thats not down or getting a hail of bullets tossed at him
well, it actually does.
considering that it would be first of all a disavantage for people that plays ally and have to grind through both campaigns.
( would be strange russians in normandy. eh? )
second factor to consider, most of those regiments never actually saw normandy. so it wouldn’t make much sense that those troops are to be send in a place that they never have been or they never were meant to be.
third factor, most of those units got divided or merged in other regments/battalions or even annhilated )

While it wouldnt really make much sense to be able to bring your eastern front squads to Normandy. It would be cool if their was some sort of reward that carries over from one campaign to another for reaching high level. Like for example, unlocking a Kar98 that looks heavily used and weathered in Normandy, or getting a unique PPSH in Berlin for a high level in the Moscow campaign.
