Engineers should be credited when allies use their spawn points. It is vital to winning the game and should absolutely be rewarded.

Considering you do AT/AA and spam machine guns as an engineer squad, I imagine it could be a bit of an overtune if points were given just for building itself.
Squad spawns are only used if they are deemed advantageous by teammates.
make spawn points give XP on spawns
make AT guns give bonus XP when used to kill tanks
make AA guns give bonus XP when used to kill planes
make MG nest give bonus XP when another user uses it to kill players
make ammo crates give XP when used
make barbed wire give XP if enemies get damaged/slowed by it
LOL seeing those two think this game’s players are already enough uncooperative.
This game almost have ZERO cooperate between players. And they just want absolute 0.
Most game I played have bonus point to share resource together and reward you for doing something helping your team members. In this game, even healing teammates is so rare to see. And using (mostly occupying) teammate’s facility can even cause angers.

Another annoying thing is that all your teammates do not build spawnpoint and then you have to waste a life (I only play lonefighter) to spawn as a engineer and build those things.

there’s an important issue that almost no one discuss about it.
but xp must be given if used. you can’t just place sandbags and earn points. they should at least gain xp if those sandbags get shoot at, if they got destroyed. meaning that you had to waste enemy " resourches " even if it’s just a simple bullet or shell.
barded wire will gain xp to the owner if someone will cross it dealing damage.
because the major issue, would be those pesky XP farmer at the back doing nothing and keep building stuff draining manpower for the front. it is truee that they have a limit of construction points, but i have to remind you that this game is a free to play and is acessable for everyone. meaning that those people will waste all their resourches for guaranteed xp and than go at the frontline to get kills and increase their xps.
this is why it’s best if the enginners have their own rewarding system.
i don’t care if it takes ages, but at least i wish it’s going to be made avoiding to farmers to exploit too much out of it.
we’ll have to see.
although, a couple of updates we received the ability to gain xp from healing other’s squads soldiers. this is a good start.
i mean, engy are always usefull, after you placed down the rally point, you can still use them to fill holes, create cover and/or place weapons or ammo boxes.
so that if you die, you have an " anchor point " for you, and the rest of your team.

Sorry, in lonefighters the engineers is far useless than automatic weapons roles.
The bolt rifle is useless facing bots. And also you can spawn with other human players who has number 1~4. Ammo crate is not a thing because you can easily peak up others’ gun. And ammo crate only resupply 1st main weapons, and even can not resupply the picked up weapons even if you thrown away your main weapons, which make it useless.
Fixed MG is a good one, but bots can always regardless of the MG suppression and give you a instant head shot.
The only circumstance I have to switch to engineer is that rest humans are always not in the place I want to spawn at, or always dies. Or for anti aircraft.
i disagree. i play my self lone fighter and it’s extreamtly important to bring rally point cloeses as you can in points. bots and players spawn there.
in normandy, it’s hard. not useless.

Again, not to sound bitchy… but if you survive long enough, like happens for me during d’day. the g43 and m1 garants are good weapon that requires lots of ammo. and as such, it’s extreamly important to have ammo boxes near by.
yep. that i agree that is far from usefull when having bots 1 tapping you cross the map.

No. Console users have either @ live or a console symbol in their name, depending on xbox (live) or PS5 respectively.

Action bolts are pretty much useless on Moscow atm because combat range is best suited for SMGs (thus it is dominated by MPs, PPKs, PPDs and if you are chad… shotguns too). On variety of Normandy maps (not looking at you Ver-sur mer) action bolts are actually far from useless.
I only really play Moscow. Maybe im just getting lucky lol.
I dont use consoles. But, all roles can carry a default bolt rifle, so those roles can only use bolt rifle is weaker using their weapons (excluding any other abilities/special weapons) than those can use full auto weapons. And in lonefighters, if you want to win a match, you can not seat there and sniping/spamming mortar/spamming HMG/etc. You have to go and capture the sector which involve CQB, and auto weapons are good at it.
BTW, I have some friends using console to play this game. The experience of competing with PC gamer is a nightmare.
Without any sarcasm I must say that you truly are lucky. However, try to use two SMG squads +LMG squad and you might never feel the need to have dedicated action bolts on Moscow. Automatic weapons are just too convenient for its map design.
To keep my post out of off topic category, I agree that engineers should be rewarded if another player is using their structures. Encouraging teamwork to promote usage of engineer´s potential (to do something else than providing unlimited ammo to mortar) is a good idea.
