So after we have researched everything pertaining to a squad we still can get squad points so what can we do with those … nothing …
These points are probably meant for the things that can’t be researched yet. The ones that say “will be available in future versions of the game” (or something along those lines).

OK but even then, there’s like 2-3 “available in future” options and my squad keeps leveling up with nowhere to put points. The fact is that squad leveling was not fully fleshed out and they did not account for spare points being leftover.
Its nice to have a squad maxed out though I think though when every single thing is maxed out for the entire squad meaning all the Squad upgrades, Personnel upgrades, and workshop upgrades … if available then you should be able to use point to tweak the Squad and Personnel upgrade part this may be a good option one could use the extra squad points for meaning if for example you made a squad and choose engineer you could them perhaps use extra squad points to be able to change this but only when all other things are maxed out …
Currently, one can change this but its only via a special order which imo are hard to get only way I know is through the battle thing … This way a person could change their squad make up more easily and I think a player would really like this option. I often upon experiencing something want to “improve” it or change it from what I originally though was a brilliant idea.

we also get locked into personnel upgrades
It may be nice IF after we max everything out for the squad if we could switch these around by using something other thank what we currently have to use maybe 5 or more of the extra squad points could allow this …
