Squad Improvements. A few suggestions and Concerns

Sniper Class.

My only peeve right now is the sniper class, it has to sit back to be effective but Aldo earns very little points even if it kills significant AI, So average points while sniper and being useful is 1.5k-2k a game which makes it a turn off to play snipers unless you just aren’t worrying about earning points.

Snipers

Snipers, should get big point differences for making longship kills, especially while killing AI who is in control point, attacking control point, or attacking other AI. Right now snipers want same points as infantry for recon style play. It is extremely difficult to earn points for upgrade for sniper classes given the current state of snipers. Also, AI snipers don’t seem to initiate long shots, despite having scope to do so.

Tanks Normandy,

High class tanks, such as jumbo, don’t seem to be penetrating lower tier German tanks, I’ve lost battle with tier one German tanks, using both shells and even aiming at turrent and ammo deposit. It’s concerning.

Pilots,

Pilots need parachutes lol. Also straffing areas and causing good defensive and offensive straffing should add some defense and offensive points to the player.

Point system,

Infantry and tanks by far want the most points per battle. Point system needs revamp, such as, engineer earning points for building defensive structures near control points or agaisnt control points. I think this well give engineer players more incentive to build defensive structure like sand bags and against tanks, adding to the atmosphere to the game and Players as well as encouraging tatics defense and play. So far engineers focus on spawns or offensive equipment like turrents to earn points, but no reward in points is given for creating defensive structures.

Dark zones,

Tank often camp in dark zones. There should be grey zones implemented allowing artillery to hit behind capture points, while allowing dark zones to protect spawn. Either way, dark zone covers too much of the map.

Recon class,

Allow a recon class that is able to go behind enemy lines without health penalty. Recon did exist, maybe there is a safe way to implement this, would be great in confusing and flanking the enemy.

Shovel,

add shovel other campaigns such as Normandy. D day could use the ability to do trenches agaisnt machine guns, tanks and snipers.

Cosmetics,

Camouflage.
Add camouflage as a perk for squad, just a fun a perk for those who wish to add some spotted camouflage. This can get very creative, even allowing snipers to earn ghillie suits etc.

Camouflage tanks.

Add the ability for floral camo, tanks, etc.

Uniforms,

Germany and U.S Normandy need more uniform types and variations. As well as Tunisia with allies getting the bad end of the stick on uniform variations and quality.

Also add tier patches to Squad uniform as well as emblem of infantry division, airborne, 1sy infantry, 101st, as a quality of life feature.

Add battle cosmetics / battle pass rewards.

Battle pass rewards could give titles, face cosmetics that aren’t intrusive such as scars, black combat face paint etc. cosmetic for guns, such as wraps, cloth, etc.

Battle pass rewards

Add more incentive and bigger rewards to battle pass. Also add a premium bonus for a week or few days for to give players a heads start.

Last but not least.

Premium squads prices and Coin prices.

Add discounts to coins given holidays or special events. Reward players the ability to earn coins, make it a limited milestone. But give the ability for players to earn coins.

Decrease premium squad prices. Way to expensive, costing the price of 60 dollars, price of an AAA game. Give players affordable options, we want to support the game but can’t hand in 60 dollars. We all have bills. Let us support you, support us and the average financial individual. 5-15 dollars is understandable for premium squads.

Community outreach.

Devs, we also ask that you monitor the enlisted discord, there are a lot of dedicated players who offer great input and bug reporting! So please get more involved i our discord, it probably one of the strongest places of interaction for the enlisted game! Thank you!

That’s bound to attract the slimiest of spawn campers.

I’m all up for that and while there seem to be variations of features on a uniform, there’s no customization options yet.

And about premium, those suggestions aren’t an improvement. It’s like asking them “pls don’t be greedy, sell stuff cheaper” - It just won’t happen unless they introduce a huge variety of premium stuff like in Warthunder.

New players and squad recruitment.

New players are having a hard time filling up their squads due to the new recruitment system, that’s focused on ranking existing characters. The removal of bronze order recruitments has brought up a lot of concern as many new players are having difficulty recruiting members to their squad. The game at this state seems a really harsh on new players and my persuade them to leave the game due to the increase difficulty of recruitment.

Para trooper class and behavior.

As of now, paratroopers behave besides assaulting the same as infantry. It would be nice to add a mechanic, which let paratroopers parachute around objectives, adding a mechanic in which a routines paratrooper plane flew around objectives allowing players to release their squads and parachute. The plane can be destructible but very tank, also allowing players to defend the plane with a given gun or turrent until they decide to release.

Stopped reading here, you can push with snipers just as with other classes, people who snipe from a far are cancer for the game and contribute nothing for their teams

no need to have it be extremely durable and defended by mounted guns. troop transport planes would fly too high for fighters to get to them very easily

Still dont get why pilots need a parachut.

so they can be useful outside their plane. they have almost no way to safely exit the plane, and they cant even survive minor crashes. itd be nice to have a reason for the equipment slots and weapon slots on pilots at least

Agreed. It would be nice to be nice to be useful and. It crash and die every time. Also, maybe it will move way for paratrooper jumping.

and how i know the game, without a plane they still block the plane slot. and if u have one, you only have 1 soldier. so not a big change in combat.

they would have a reason to make a vehicle slot open up when the vehicle is destroyed without the crew being dead if they did it

me too but 95% not. and till you land i think the ai will kill u 20 times.

make an option to activate the parachute controlled by player and have an indicator of the lowest possible altitude one could release the parachute and survive (with an altimeter) or something like that
