Squad charge

May already have been suggested (not sure) but it would be fun to have a secondary “charge” button, or mode, that would make not just your controlled character but entire squad charge alongside you.

I like Pacific Japanese faction, and the newer event squad (need engineer btw). But those guys are supposed to banzai with glory to honour their ancestors! Yet only the squad leader (controlled character) charge at any given time…

Old RO2 Rising Storm players must remember how fun a group charge was. Even if the end result was to fall under mg fire… it was glorious.

I wish I could do so with my 9 riflemen, or better, having equipped em with katakanas see us all charge like mad zealots disregarding any personal injuries.

The problem is your bot need be near you so no sparse in the map, and alive, two thing rare to see

Not a problem. You ordered your bots to wait?

Use normal charbe button.

Bots following you?

Use squad charge button.

Tbh even if it’s just for show I’d still like my bots to charge alongside me. Because who’s the first guy in the squad you shoot at? The only guy charging: he’s easily recognized as the player.

Also since now all bots automatically murder you in melee if you stand 3m or less away from them, the simple animation of them running towards you (then melee murder you if near) would be stunning.

A lil fun qol feature.
