Spotting xp

i have been playing enlisted for around 2-3 months and have noticed that a lot of players dont actually mark enemies. this is specially problem when you are playing radio/mortar/bomber. you can only shoot/drop bombs guided by your experience. so why not include spotting xp for marking enemies? so every dead enemy in some radius of marker provides spotting xp.

It would be nice for spotting to be incentivized in some way. The solution you are providing could lead to people just spamming useless markers to try to get some free xp (not a problem for marking tanks). But I can’t think of a better way to do it.

well i also thought of marker spam, but you could easily prevent pointless marking with limiting number of markers per player.

I would like a war thunder style of spotting, only provide points if the mark is placed when an enemy is in the crosshairs or something.

will hurt constant marking players like me when playing sniper or in general as support infantry. If were not able to give constant fresh marks whats going on and how that single unit or blob is moving it will only cripple it.

How ever there could be pings and actually recon marks with an timer but idk… Even if i would like to be rewarded for the things i supposed to be doing as ex recon but also playing as anyone, that will help your team to victory at times and its good enough for me. If ppl dont want to teamplay they will usually loose because of many factors. Airmen will have to guess their approach and take longer time eyeballing the battlefield, inf getting flanked without knowing it etc etc

Heck even tankers should be marking to if they got a good look at the battlefield and understands it

I usually put single markers on one sq, 2 when theres an small blob and 3 if there are many af ^^
Then i move singles in a line if i see them move in one direction usually on flankers and bigger blobs
If you managed to take them out you can also erase it by clicking on that marker again

But since gamers are usually greedy and lazy af now a days it might be helpful with an carrot to get them start team playing (also since they dont know how, to consider)
How ever they also like to exploit things to their advantage which also makes it devastating in that sense as mentioned
So if they implement a system it has to be good but not exploitable and constructive
Trollls also like to use this current system though to confuse airmen from time to time with random marks in to no where ive noticed so theres that to but sometimes that could be mistakes as well that the player dont know how to reverse

Sometimes there are too many redundant markers, when in a group it would be nice to have a different colour marker or style for your squad pings to help…
