Yet spotting flare is an issue.
In BF you can shoot down the flare.
And since enlisted has shooting down grenades, I think it could be implemented.
I hardly see ppl spotting. Mostly tanks, sometimes fortifications.
Imo more ways to spot won’t hurt.
So I have to prove something you’ve imagined I’ve said. Huh
Well, yes. But I really don’t want everything to be spotted basically 24/7.

That’s why I suggested it to have limited ammo, backed down to be non real time and be possible to shot down.
Imo there are ways to make this thing usefull, not useless, not OP.
Other ideas for nerfs:
- You need to be for x seconds in the area to be spotted
- You can’t be spotted when crouched/prone + perks to not be spotted while standing/walking/at all
- Simply a small radious
show me anyone shoulder firing 50kg AT rifle, while standing.
Could be given to sniper class, limiting its usage somewhat heavily but at would make choosing sniper in other squads somewhat valid choice ?
Could spot say, AA guns that are often far behind lines and cant? be spotted by planes, or if can be its quite hard since I dont recall ever getting spot on AA from plane.
I think it could have some niche use, idk how hard it would be to implement.

I don’t see why it would be “needed” tho…
Because ppl don’t spot (generally).
So maybe if they have dedicated device and get some exp for using it, they will be more likely to spot.
I really don’t understand why ppl don’t like this idea so much.
I like the idea of using flares for something, would be cool.
i am not a fan of even more spotting tho. maybe give it no function, like an emote lol.
