The color of builds like AA or AT guns you spot as a pilot are red (friendly and ennemy) it must be different colors.
Even if you know well the battlefield it will be better to know who’s using these strutures.

How would you tell if the AA Gun was manned by friendly or enemy units in RL situation? You couldn’t. Just be glad FF is off by default and at most you lose is a bombing run.
