I feel like the rates to get an entire squad aren’t going to be very high and the boosters and cosmetic orders are going to be very common,making Enlisted:Gatcha Edition 
the new thing,which is going to be made worse by the fact that they likely wont have a “select faction” option for it,so even if you do,you might get some squad from a nation you never play.what are your speculations on the rates for this?

According code on Test server these can be obtained from “drops” (These are not twitch drops, they just named it badly)
Assume rate for Squads will be the lowest possible.

I don’t keep up with all of the news releases; I must have miss this one: What are veteran boxes? How will they work, and is there a cost associated with them?
Its an upcoming but not much known about (like when its coming out,how much its going to cost,ect.)feature that will allow you to get potentially old event squads,weapons,veichles,and other random things,including boosters and appearance orders,which IMO shouldn’t be included in something you are likely going to spend a lot on.
My guess is either 50k silver or 100k silver per box.
With 0,05% chances to obtain a full event squad.

Based on what you’ve said here, it sounds like we won’t be able to directly purchase anything. Is this supposed to be like purchasing soldiers where you get a chance to get a perfectly rolled soldier or not, in other words more gambling?
Yes.
It’s why the very idea gives me nausea. Loot boxes is a shit concept in pretty much all games where they exist.
Because their only reason of being, is to goad the player into spending more. For a % chance of gains which are often not what you wanted. Which will make you spend again in the hope you get it.
But you probably won’t and just leave frustrated or dispirited.

I just hate this concept with all my being.
I remember DF staff saying “We want to distance ourselves from gacha rng which is why we will remove academy, and random weapons drops for bronze orders!”
Also DF: “You get soldiers with random rng stats, gacha like! Spend more to get a chance for better stats” and “lootboxes! Trolololol!”

From the list, I think aswell the squad will be the rarest with the drop are in ascending order where the squad will be the rarest and the decorator order and vehicul decorator order will be the more common to get.
It will be interessting to see how the research EXP will be factored into the price as it was a thing they said might be comeing.
For now we have see in test server it 50 exp for 1 silver
So it double the old rate but still not much
