What you are doing is trying to lessen what he is going through without finding out more. Thats all and you are trying to validate your stance with a Fallacy of Faulty Analogy. Look I dont know whats happening to him it could be multiple things. We dont know but trying to push off what he said as just invalid without knowing more isnt helping.

uncritically believing someone and disregarding all questions/criticism as to not “lessen what he is going through” seems quite a bit more fallacious dont you think?
and again, the analogi was not 1:1, it was just there to get the idea into your head that not all scenarios are equally likely to happen (and in this case one of them were extremely unlikely)
in simpler term if there are 2 theories one with simplest explanation is preferred.

If you guys know how to use google, you will see that thinking that this game could have cheaters based on the ease of access isn’t all that crazy.
Now, that definitely doesn’t mean there are cheats in every match, but maybe sometimes. There are also such cheats like soft aimbot which purposefully tries to hide the fact that you are cheating. It can be very difficult to tell who is cheating if they know what they are doing, and are actively taking steps to hide their cheats.
It doesn’t make any sense to attack someone who is trying to help this game by suggesting something to remove more cheaters which doesn’t affect gameplay for the rest of the players.
So what if he thinks he maybe saw a cheater that wasn’t a few times? It’s not like there are NO cheats whatsoever, so it’s not like he’s just saying it for no reason.
It’s good that he reported what he believed to be cheater, because it’s the DEVS who will review it and make the decision if they were cheating or not.
I know what Occam’s razor is. However a fallacy of faulty analogy is what you are using and just because Occam’s razor is often used by people it is not right in their application. The fact is that Occam’s Razor states that we shouldn’t multiply information to prove a theory. Not that the simplest answer is often correct.
