We need to be able to spectate players in-game on both teams So that we can record hackers and validate that these people are hacking. I have followed people in my own team and reported them after watching them spin jump shooting and getting multiple kills in a row, which is a clear sign of aimbotting.
Everytime hacking is brought up in the discord players have their comments removed even though there is absolutely no rule against it on the discord. We are told to record them. Well how can we do that if we dont have the ability to spectate games.
Not sure if i’ve ever seen a hacker, my mates most at least twice as good running around in shooter with k/d far above 5 get suspected cheating all day and footage of them is even around YT where ppl get totally crazy in their heads and tell some pre aim or what ever is cheating because 5 walls behind was an enemy (ofc there is always someone).
So i doubt that will bring any help in a game that doesn’t really have cheaters, at least what i can tell.
Edit: So what i wanted to say is that “Cheaters” can be just good players, i’ve seen ppl in Enlisted in live matches complaining but these ppl were just good at the game and nothing more.
That is such a bs excuse, there are so many hacks for this game. If you google it you will be shocked. Yeah there could be good players. Pre-firing is a thing I do it. But When you see someone Jump Down and spin around getting kills while he’s falling. This is happening more and more. I’m glad you BELIEVE you haven’t seen any hackers.
I don’t understand the the push back for something that is going to improve the game. Seems weird that you would push back on something like that.
Maybe try responding to the original post instead of gaslighting and going off on a random tangent? Nobody was talking about how many cheaters you have or haven’t seen; the post is about how we do police or report potential cheating or teamkilling at all…lmao some people are just lost man
Its just because devs have to decide where to focus development power. The thing is simply that when u ask decent ppl at this game they just haven’t seen cheats. May there’re be cheaters ofc but there wasn’t even one moment in 2k games what i thought “wow he’s killing me because of cheats”.
I’ve experienced myself ppl that see cheaters all day, so why should someone focus on a problem thats just a ghost or in such a minority existent that it doesn’t matter because the already existing Easy Anti cheat does a good job. So when that job is done well why would devs have a need to deal with mountains of false reports?
And you can already report ppl ingame, im sure devs have tools and data to identify cheaters, team killers and so on.
How do you know any of what you say is right? We know you can report people in-game. I’ve experienced people cheating and after over 20 years of FPSers From Quake to Current games, I can spot them pretty damn quickly. The fact that you are pushing back on a spectator mode just seems so suspect to me. Also, who are these “Good” players you are talking about? Many of the players im talking to that have agreed we are all “Good” Players.
Idc about the tool you ask for, you can have them. Im just corious why so such topics here pop up from time to time.
But anyway, i think we can talk about that topic all day which wouldn’t lead to a proper solution for any of us that we have totally different standpoints. And that i don’t come around here to “battle” with ppl, others might help you better with that topic.
spectating will never be implemented cause it will be pointless. you cant allow spectating enemy players while game is still going cause it will reveal all their position and they will lose tactical advantage and you cant inform someone from enemy team cause chat function only allows team messages.
Well the screening has alway been a thing in many games. But being able to spectate players in game even if its just your own team is a good way of showing the developers that they have an issue with cheating in the game. The fact is this that there needs to be dedicated servers that are run by the community that have official status so that you can have admins. Because EAC is terrible at pinging cheaters, thats why other games have implemented Dedicated servers with admins.
yes, but they all have different concepts than enlisted. in battle royale you die and cant spawn again, in competitive shooters it is per round basis.
also they are trying so hard to mask bots, so any suspect behavior may actually be just bots turning on their aimbot. i wouldnt be surprised if some of the people you can add on friends list are actually bots and that is one of the most used ways for community to check for bots.
i know that there is cheating happening in every game, but most of the reports i have seen can be easily explained: bots gone crazy, stupid kill cam mechanism, latency (and lag), even aim assistance of console players.
out of 5-6 months i have been playing this game i have seen actual cheater only once… and that is when someone uploaded video of cheater killing ~15 people per run with plane machinegun.
