It would be a better idea for Gajin on their 60% off specials packages to allow players to choose the squads that they want from a pool rather then the 4 prechosen selection. Maybe offer a few at different lower BRs, then you get to choose one from an assortment of an old legacy squad or one not offered in the stores anymore…maybe even making them so you can arm them with a different weapon but still be able to play the unique outfit at a different BR. For older players, we might already have one or two of them so we don’t get to buy.
For instance with the Japanese Imperial bundle…the APC is cool, the BR3 engineers are unique…the snipers are brutal as the weapon sucks but the ghilly uniform is awesome. The BR 1 medics have a cool gun…but they are medics and one of the first squads you can unlock on the TT, so not even worth it for new players with all the new weapon buffs. If you want to sell and make it appealing, you need to make it customizable and unlock the weapons. You also need to use this blue print for BR 4 and 5 squads. If it were, WAY more people would pay 5000 gold for the sale bundles…just saying.
Gajin needs to learn the art of the deal…businesses make money when players are happy, not the other way around. This game is too good to have the company lose it’s loyal player base for bad decision making.
thats not how bundles work, i guess they could give you choices with a point value. that is each item given a points value and the bundle worth a certain amount of points. the point of a bundle is to group more desirable products with less desirable products. thus raising the value of hard to sell items by offering a discount. or they could offer several items grouped by slots so you get one and only one desirable item with several lesser or harder to sell items. the point of a bundle is not to offer you a great value thats the point of a general sale.
But that gets negated when they do their biannual 50% off sale and you just buy the squad you want. My way makes them sell more making them more money, and us happier.
I know they throw some brutal squads in, but by them unlocking the weapons makes them more desirable and in turn, bought and played more.
buying more is not as important as spending more
they dont want premium weapons being used in non premium squads
so they would have to make a system that allows tech tree weapons to be used by premium squads
while preventing said premium weapons from being used by any other squad
yes only so long as you buy a mix of desirable and undesirable squads
selling you all good stuff only dilutes its value again its bundling 101
its not about making you happy, selling bundles are about increasing sales of products that are not selling well
