Spawning far behind our point

What’s going on here dude…
Since today, I noticed that when defending, I spawn far behind our point.
First I played 3 battles in the Pacific, all were defending and late joining and I spawned far behind our point.
Then I played some more battles outside Pacific, no late joining, but still spawning very far behind when defending.
Most of the rest of my team seems to spawn normally in our point, except for 1 or 2 squads which spawn far away.
I never had this happen before, especially not like 5 or 6 battles in a row.

Isn’t this mostly due to late join ?
since the spawns is no longer available at the cap for later joiner to spawn in them

That second pacific game is a conquest match so you always spawn far away
But yeah, it’s caused by late joining, I have not experienced this other than in a late join match
