I understand that you want to stop players being camped when they spawn but to have spawned units standing still and firing at you when all your getting is a shield icon is utterly ridiculous. Yes protect a squad when it spawns and allow it to move to safety but not have them just stand there and mow you down with impunity!

If you’re getting “mowed down with impunity” by ppl having the shield icon when you fire at them… it’s on you alone, budy. You’re too close to enemy spawn wich means you’re not defending your objective.

Sometimes it’s just bad map design. There are quite a few places where you spawn, literally turn around a corner and face the enemy. Also maps are tiny ass.
On some maps you can hit the enemy spawn from your spawn.

first camp the opponent spawn and then complain on the forum because you die aganaist the enemy with spawn protection

I mean it happens to me when we recently lose a point. If I don’t fall back fast enough then the enemy might spawn beside me… But it’s still my fault for not falling back to the next point.

no is normal we all do this, the difference between us and op is that we know that if we decide to stay: either we die in the gray area, or we die from enemy bullets

I believe the spawn protection only lasts 5 seconds, so if they just stand there for 6 seconds or more….they can be killed
What were you doing at enemy spawn in first place?

The cognitive dissonance is through the roof.
If you camp the spawn, you deserve to get killed by invulnerable units firing back at you.
Frankly, they should also deal 10x damage and have auto-aim on top of being invulnerable just so that obnoxious spawn campers get a clue and get back to the objective, where they are supposed to be.

I just knew some socially inept or foolish perople would start moaning on about camping the spawn. I don’t camp the spawn. So here’s what happened. Normandy campaign. I’m in a position fighting the enemy. Team loses the control point and the boundaries move back and the spawn points move forward. Enemy soldiers come out of a building that contains the new spawn point and I’m faced with an invisible shield whilst the enemy is ratta-tatta my squad to death. Some of us in the game haven’t learnt or are not OCD enough to learn where all the spawns appear
