please nerf prevent explosion spam infantry becomes a hell to play in games where all the time there are bombs artillery and tanks camping in gray area (just prevent them from shooting in gray area)

I get about 100 kills per battle with 4000 score
Then explosions aren’t that big of a problem.

i find neither are problems
artllery is shit but deletes engineer buildings
and tank sit in the grey zone cuz they have a long range gun that they cant use in close range and also every soldier apparently can just delete tanks
however i find that people that just run 3 rifles squads with large grenade packs and three impact nades with two rifle grenade launcher to be something that people should not be allowed to do, like how bad do you have to be
If they saw this, by their logic, they would consider reducing the explosives to marshmallows.

The problem is in you. Not in the game.
The only way to reduce fire in the gray zone is to increase the area you can move around, and thus increase the distance from the main spawn pink to the key point.
First, there is nothing wrong with artillery or explosives, this is a war game. Second, there is nothing wrong with the gray zone. My gray zone is part of my play area just like the enemy’s is there.

TANKS should not be allowed to sit back like they are. I’ve said this before. They should need to push up and assist infantry. Having something with that much armor and mobility IS pretty game breaking.

ARTILLERY needs to have an actual counter. The fact that radio operator squads can stay hidden and call down artillery that cannot be stopped in any way, every 2 minutes/ squad is in fact very gamebreaking, especially with the added issue of no friendly fire damage from it.

PLANES are an issue because the AA is still broken (and given that they JUST announced a unique premium P2W plane(s) for Pacific campaign, its pretty obvious as to why they have chosen to ignore the issues with AA).

Rifle grenade spam is still very strong. (For those that try to argue that they are ineffective, I tested them again last night. I was wiping out 5+ enemies with EASE on Normandy Allies. Their blast radius is fine as long as your aim is decent.)
Considering they are often used by rifleman squads of 7-9 troops carrying them, this is 21-27 shots total. That is pretty substantial. -
Grenade spam due to multitude of characters with grenade pouches is still quite strong.

Despite IRL sandbags being used to take the brunt of explosions and fragmentations, the ones in the game don’t seem to hold up to any of it, therefore not even having an ability to defend against the onslaught of explosions.
Against the OP:

AT field guns. Their 2 jobs are to take out tanks, and deal accurate direct fire support. To do this, they are rather exposed and not very mobile. So if its one of these that is giving you issue, it should be rather easy to deal with, as AT soldiers, Tanks, Planes, Artillery, Snipers , Mortars all take them out with ease.

Mortars. They require either good knowledge of the map and common routes, or someone spotting for you to make use of effectively. Their job is to send suppressing indirect fire. They do however face a hefty ammunition issue that leads to a bulk of ammo boxes being required making them relatively easy to spot usually.
All in all, I agree that there needs to be some changes done. Predominately on the side of being able to build effective defenses that don’t get obliterated instantly. After all, it still requires players to take the time to set them up.
I totally disagree tho.
There is plenty of options to deal with tanks in their play area.
We can’t forget when we play as tankers, on our play area, 99% time we are on grey zone too.(because defenders grey zone usually end around the cap point)
with every soldier having a chance of carrying death I’m not pushing forward when I know certain death is waiting for me nerf Explosive packs or change them otherwise I’m not pushing forward to my certain demise
Preventing tanks from shoting from inside the greyzone is a stupid idea if you think about what this would mean for the tanker.
- any attacking tank must drive onto the cap to shot ( or is in defender grey zone) defeating the point of a tank
- tank duels dont work if 1 tank is near the cap and the othere just spawned recently ( dont need the be a genius to find out how wins if only one party of the duel can shot).
- Tanks will just be farmed by panzerfaust or even mines before it can reach the shoting area coz if cant even clear a path for itself so why bother.
- How do tank even know where the “fun zone” starts if it is all their playzone
- Not beeing able to shot makes for exiting gameplay…
Nah, the game lost a good 50% of it’s fun once they limited artillery to once at a time.
It was mad immersing trying to survive the constant onslaught of artillery while pushing enemy positions. Honestly, I even think it is directly related to the skill level veterans have at this game other than just more experience, we had to survive that, pushing objectives nowadays is cheap easy to do.
Yeah, theres a explosion problem, most of them only half as strong as they used to be.

That said arty should be limited to two HE, two smoke and one bomber run at a time.
they do by doing what most where intented to do, sit at a distance and sling HE into strong points
and the fact they sit in the “grey zone” is a map issue not a player/gameplay issue
