SPAA's vs tanks

american M13 can penetrate ~30 mm of steel

Ta-se can penetrate ~45 mm of steel

we all know that M13 just slices through unfairly expensive japanese tanks, but on the other side, you also have Ta-se which has actually more firepower than its alternatives

both SPAAs preform better against other faction’s tanks (when compared to actual tanks) due to having no need to reload after every single shot (ok, Ta-se sucks because crew gets sniped, but lets leave infantry for now)

for that sake i request that either SPAA’s are replaced with tanks that can actually be balanced with crap of japanese tanks (they didnt have tanks with enough armour to stop 12 mm machinegun fire) or some completely other mechanic is added, that somehow balances pacific armoured vehicles.

Like you said, they’re both supposed to be offset by being vulnerable to infantry.

Just the M13’s damage model is still broken. Not as broken as it started, but still broken.
Even the Chi Ha can’t do much to it.
Best option is to magdump with the AT rifle.

Because the engine block is the only part of it that takes damage. Or more accurately responds to damage.

You can shoot the turret with a cannon and it won’t give a fuck. Won’t even kill the gunner.

Ok but i keep see him spawned and killed wen in the other side there is at least one player with an at-gun or a ta-se

I actually used it and dont survived no more than 30 sec before a ptrs blow me

So i keep not see what you say, the pz2 is actually better

I mean the core of this game is basically asymmetry because every faction’s weapons, gadgets, vehicles, planes, etc perform differently.

The assymetry argument hasn’t been valid for a long time. The devs have long since abandoned meaningful assymetry.
