What is more interesting is that US gets SPAA and Japs get a plane at the same level if I understand correctly. So no 1:1 like before (although I recall we had sth like this already).

Japanese mass-produced over hundreds of Toyoda KB Truck (トヨダKB型自動貨車) or Nissan Model 80 Truck (日産80型自動貨車) with Type 98 20mm anti-aircraft autocannons. But here’s no protection for crews as M16 MGMC

to be honesty I doubt they implement it. They devert 3D models from WarThunder, but all IJA’s SPAA in the game were prototype which were made only one.

I don’t think they said what level the things they revealed were going to be at. If you check back at the Stalingrad announcement, they only revealed the KV 1 and the Potez for vehicles, so I don’t think that is the case.

You may be right but then why wouldn’t they show japanese SPAA? According to @aizenns it would be something exotic (so worth mentioning).
According to War Thunder, you only really have the option of the Type 94, which is a truck with a 20mm. Compared to the Zero, It’s not really a surprise they went with the Zero, as that would generate more hype. Again compared to Stalingrad, sure they could have announced the SU-2 instead of the KV 1, but the KV-1 would generate more hype.

Well, 20mm on the Type 94 6-wheeled truck is also prototype only one is built. Production models used Toyoda KB and Nissan model 80.
Although, most of people will not care it
