Try the Carabine m1 this thing is just sad ngl.
At least stv series are reload by magazine which is very good
And all of them are able to use bayonet
I think the SVTs are fine ballistic wise. I haven’t played with them too long but my only issue with them in the sighted recoil makes it harder to get follow up shots at medium to short range. Point blank accuracy is fine and to be expected when hip firing.
There is that weird uglyduckling moist nugget conversion to SA.
5 rounds internal mag, id argue its equally crappy as the germut counter.
I think you just have to improve on your aim.

this is very logical for two reasons:
- Its balance, the SVT-38 has an increadible reload. Having high bullit dispersion makes sence as a counterbalance
- Its historicly accurate since the was a real problem with the historic SVT-38, sort of known for horrible accuracy.
It is also a rifle that was used at the beginning of the war, so making it possible to use it on Moscow maps on low BR makes some sence.
Aiming issue?
SVT’s have the same dispersion as M1 garands
