Hello guys,hope someone will be able to help me around this,i started changing gun sounds with my custom ones,the sound when i preview the file is loud,however once i add it to the game,its much more quiet than vanilla sounds,hell vanilla pistol sound is louder than my rifle sound,what can i do to make them equal?
just try increasing the volume of the sound file before you repack the banks?
yeah i pretty much tried that,i increased the volume in audacity,it gets slightly better but still not enough,and i cant increase it to maximum because the sound becomes extremely distorted and loses quality
weird, when you rebuild the bank files, click the options and try another encoding method such as PCM
its louder with PCM,close to matching vanilla sounds loudness but still feel like something is missing
