Sound Design at the Start/During Matches

Just a quick suggestion about the sounds when you start a game. I really like the feature where the soldiers will all shout as they run into battle, especially for the soviet team, but it might be better to have just one instance with squads shouting at the same time rather than each individual squad shouting as they spawn in, it can start sounding weird if it’s spaced out enough.

I’d also suggest having the squads communicate more during the battle in their respective languages, like calling out enemies or indicating when they’re reloading, whispering about enemy locations, depending on the squad stance (aggressive, defensive, sneaki breeki), it would add a lot of immersion.

I have been playing mostly american side and i have felt a little mixed about their yelling sounds. The first time i booted the game up, i was so confused and thought someone was just spamming voice commands at spawn.

I definitely agree that squad immersion should be important for this game, considering that the squad system is what makes the game unique. It would be great to capture that feeling of the old Brothers in Arms.

Ja! Ja! Ja, toll! Oh, jawohl! :hear_no_evil:

I think the shouting /yelling is a bit to much at certain points. Especially at the beginning of a new round.

I also noticed that your soldier sometimes screams “that’s right unit, foooorwaaard” even though all his mates already died and you’re the last on of your unit. That should be removed, because it’s just funny.
