TNT is a somewhat difficult AT measure to deploy, given its lack of range (obviously), requirement for the soldier to expose themself to enemy fire, and the very inaccurate nature of the placement animation which leads to things like this happening:

Even if you do manage to deploy it, TNT is quite lack-luster, with its incredibly underwhelming penetrating power that leads to things like this happening:
I propose TNT get a few buffs, in the forms of increased penetrating power, increased track damage (if it goes off on top of a track, that track should be destroyed, come on now), and selective placement.
The placement buff would look like a buildable when placing, turning green where you can place it, and place instantly. That way you can avoid placing where you did not intend to and deliberately target a tank’s weak points instead.
Inb4 the Tankers come crying… The only times this affects you is when you got yourself overrun by infantry, which is either your fault for being that far forward without infantry support or your teammates’ fault for not supporting you (either way it’s fair) or when you’ve been had by an enemy infiltrator either playing Guerillas to get you out of the grey-zone, or some other squad they executed an excellent flank to destroy you with (either way it’s fair). Whatever the case, you shouldn’t get to stay sitting in your tank just because TNT doesn’t work properly. If someone outplays you with it, they should be rewarded with the tank kill.
I saw a paradivision video where he casually drops tnt on a tiger tank and blows it up and im like wow he’s so lucky and then theres this where you put it on a Sherman tank and somehow it doesn’t blow up even tho it has weaker armor
Those Enlisted physics are so weird in the way the TNT block can stick sideways instead of flat against the armor. And somehow it immediately absorbs damage. That’s what I see in the video, and I’ve encountered it before.
It feels like there have been a significant nerf on TNT charges recently, can’t even blow up any russian or americam tank anymore with one charge or even explosive packs.
I thought it was just me, last time I tried to destroy a Pz IV H with the TNT pack, it fell on the roof and as if nothing had happened it even killed me, they should increase their explosive charge because it’s not possible to throw a TNT right at the roof of a Tiger 1 or a Sherman and not blow it up or even worse, throw it at an enemy and it not kill him, when a normal grenade can haha

I’ve not had any trouble deploying my TNT to get tank kills. I’ve found it even more reliable at killing them than throwing explosive packs.
Maybe get further away so the soldier detonating the TNT doesn’t die. Things get weird if the soldier gets killed by their own thing. Stops bullets from accurately spawning/hitting and kills from going off. This has/is/was known to very dramatically affect plane bombs so it is important to not crash with planes when doing your bombing runs.
Why do you place them on most armored places and not where ammunition or engine would be damaged? Also exploding these without taking cover is just a waste, because you easily could drop a explosion charge under the tank after a failed TNT attempt
Oh indeed, my skill just vanished from one day last week and it seems also the same skill vanished from other players at the same time. Too bad that we don’t have skill anymore
