Something Japan needs. ( A rifle that competes whit M2 carabine )

Give japan something, that is a auto rifle how has 20 rounds in magazine, don,t need to be realy be real. just make a crazy magazine mod and it,s donne. M2 carabine will be no more a treat to japan.

cheers.

I can’t come up about anything that IJN have. M2 is in BR 5, it is means you hardly see M2, what dark flow suppoesed to do is to make some real BR 3 and 4 weapon for Pacific.

There was a full auto type hei with a 20 round magazine that would be really similar to the federov since they have about the same weight and bullet. They are probably gonna add it for the assault engineers mentioned before.

Correct
I was going to suggest it in my list as an M2 equivalent, but the Type Hei was already a mere prototype (about 50 weapons) and the 20-round automatic weapon was a one-off with no documentation.

No, no it needs to be real

It doesn’t have to be too real, but I don’t feel it would be a good decision to integrate it as a frontline weapon … but I would like it as a gold card so there is an equivalent to the M1 Garand Automatic (both weapons have a 20 round mag).

Unfortunately the T20E1 was actually built

I know. In 1944 the project to develop an automatic rifle with more rounds and detachable box magazine was revived by Springfield as a “research center” and in 1945 they created the T20E1 … 10 rifles. But as far as I know it failed at Aberdeen Proving Ground. And as a result it was still being tested, among others by the U.S.M.C. (with the name “T20E2”, right?). But to come to the point: the T20E1 never saw combat during WWII, because on 15.08.1945 it was still in testing and even on 02.09.1945 it was still far from completion and not introduced to the army.
The 20 round Type Hei was also built and tested during WWII.
So with all due respect: I don’t see much difference?

However, I’m fair enough to admit that the rifle was still developed after 1945 and improved variants were introduced, but it wasn’t introduced as a weapon. From a technical point of view, the development of the T20 was of great importance for the further development of U.S. armament.
But I think you have to agree with me that it would be a fair addition to the IJA.

Well shoot dude if there was a built, functioning prototype then it’s real enough

Fricking send it dude

By the way how many people will be willing to play br 5 Japan? Personally I don’t think too many. And if things go wrong then people won’t be playing beyond br 2 Japan.

Although I agree that the Japanese military is not capable of entering BR5
But according to the official news I saw yesterday, DF seems to be preparing to install BR5 weapons for Japan

I wonder how many people even play with br 5 Japan.

To start with: the Type Hei 10 round (introduced as a gold card)
HeiSpät10Schuss

Type Hei 20 round - with(out) gun shield
20AutoHeiOhneSchild
20SchussAutoHeiMitSchild

So I assume we have an acceptable proof and result?

Sure. Fine by me
