add one more round to magazine fed weapons if reloaded before being empty. So a P-38 can have 8 rounds plus one in the chamber.
-
Reduce magazine capacity for M1911s to 7 as 8 round magazines were not around for them in ww2.
-
Provide full info on the cartridges the weapons use on their cards, for instance instead of saying 7.62mm for the Mosin, put 7.62x54R.
-
Add Officer (double -action) variant of the Nagant 1895 revolver for the Soviet faction.
-
Either change the caliber description of the Berdan II rifle from 11mm to 7.62mm or 7.62x54R or reduce the stopping power to less than a mosin 91/30 rifle. Blackpowder cartridges had much less muzzle velocity than smokeless spitzer cartridges. The current information on the weapon card makes no sense historically or realistically. Yes, Berdans in 7.62x54R did exist.

Improve reloading animations for Lee-Enfields and the G 41. If I fire 5 rounds out of 10, I should only load one 5 round stripper clip. If I fire 7 rounds, I reload one 5 round charger and 2 individual cartridges at a time. I load 2 full clips only when I’ve fired all 10 rounds from the weapons.
-
Add semi automatic fire mode to SMGs that are supposed to have them.
-
Overhaul the perk system. Because there are some perks that are just straight up better than other ones. One of the perks would be start with extra round in chamber.
It’s already in game for, like, more than a year.
Good idea.
Not all the ones that are supposed to have this feature do.
Which doesn’t? I remember almost all smgs having this feature.
Mp28 doesn’t, I believe Lanchester doesn’t either
The MP28/II , MP-35 (short barrel) and the Erma EMP are so far the ones i’ve tried that are supposed to be select fire but arent.
The variant we have is apparently the Mk. 1*. Which is supposed to be full auto only so it’s correct. Different story if it were the original Mk. 1
Absolutely not an expert, however Berdan II ingame has a black smoke trail after user shoots it. That would mean that the right caliber for it was 10.75Ă—58 mmR
Black powder requires heavier projectiles in order to have stable trajectory and ballistic properties. That’s why you would see in the 19th century calibers such as .45 .50 .54 .57 .69 and so on
Smokeless powder enabled to get more power and speed of a bullet which allowed for smaller calibers such as 8mm mauser, 7,62 calibers and many other we know today but the bullet would need to be jacketed with copper coating in order not to lead the barrel while with black powder cartridges that wasnt necessary
Another thing …Perhaps damage should be reduced after 150 or 200 meters, realistically these kind of firearms had effectiveness up to 500 meters and quite frankly the damage was even more devastating than modern smokeless cartridges
Just make Berdans have one shot kill up to 150 meters, black powder cartridges are one big mess …they worked for a long time
I went full smartass mode, but im just a geek
no no, you’re probably right
