Some suggestions after BF6 open beta

Finally play some real good FPS game to compare with our favorite Enlisted, here are some suggestions based on my experience playing BF6.
1.bot movement system
Some bot in enlisted move like a gyro, looks like dog chasing it’s own tail, turn 1080 degree in 1 second and it really hard to aim. bot in bf6 movement really natural, DF really should learn to it, at least give bot a turning angle limit like only turn 120degree in 1 second or something work like it.
2.gun mount system
I knew you fix it in some years before and it work better than this game started, but i still feel gun mount in enlisted have little bug, it often or even usually auto dis mount when you mount gun on something like window or rock, even on ground. please fix it.
3. medic system
Is there any one play medic for it special ability or just play it as tier1 assaulter? medic box could work like tank resupply point give solder a slowly regeneration like that 5 point perk.
4. gun reload animation
shotgun in BF6 work really fine, animation is really great, but it really unpleasant in Enlisted, please fix shotgun reload animation.
5.something not so important, marking system
As we all know marking infantry in enlisted has no point gain and no one like mark infantry in the game, at least give it 1 point when mark place nearby has enemy infantry and teammate eliminate it, bf has 35 recon assit point when a full infantry kill get 150point.

BF6 beta was garbage that game is a cod not battlefield. Super small maps, very high TTK so guns feel weak and too fast mov speed.

Better mount system and medic pulling up wounded would pretty cool.

Enlisted is a bit different because anyone can self revive, so I don’t think medics will always be nearby to help before someone has already self revived. And as for the medic box it’s fine and pretty useful currently, bots just need to take medkits when they pass by, one last thing I would recommend is that medic bots should attempt to heal or revive nearby allies.

Enlisted has very little in common with modern battle field

You cant really compare those diffrent systems for bots because it is very easy to just create a far away waypoint on the objective and have bots run towards it while shooting and have it look somewhat OK while doing so.

The big issue with the AI in enlisted is that by nature of simulating a squad the bots need to be close to the player which acts as that waypoint. The close proximity to the waypoint is always causing issues when you try to make AI look more natural but beeing ontop of it kinda makes that task really difficult.

And since enlisted isnt some linear corridor shooter they cant just fake an AI by scripting the hell out of every possible situation the bot could encounter.

Saying enlisted bots are terrible because game Z has way better looking bots is kinda always BS as an argument since the requirment for bots in enlisted is so much more diffrent.

I can agree on a few things:
-bots aren’t great, that’s not new, but it’s still better than a few years back
-movements and their animations in general still look very janky, it has been improved, but there is still a long way to go
-same for mounting system, it is annoying and janky, especially when you can’t mount on a surface you are close to, or when you automatically exit without wanting to, and I also feel like the aim is sometimes off when mounting
-for the medics, I don’t really know, but it’s kind of annoying to have 4 medkits to heal, while in Isonzo for example, a more hardcore game, you have one medkit, but you can use it infinitely, but it only gives you back your health to a certain amount, and one of your squadmates can heal you with his medkit to give you your full health back
-terrible reload animations aren’t exclusive to shotguns, a LOT of weapons just have bad animation, and also bad sound often, a few weapons were corrected over the years, but really not that much, the road is still very long to have good animations
-spotting is not great, I know that, and I have proposed a few ideas on one of my topics if you’re interested, but you’ll have to search in my long list of suggestions
Here: Suggestions of new and interesting features

But yeah, Enlisted might have a few similarities with Battlefield, but it is not the same game, and I don’t want it to become like BF, I would rather prefer if Enlisted stayed its own thing.

Welcome to the team. People asked for better bots since 2020 at least, more since 2021.

Again, welcome to the team, lad. It was far worse before so I guess we will have to wait until 2028.

No one plays medic beyond dropping crate because system sucks and Enlisted wants you to die. The game rewards people for cycling squads.

Yeah, they aint pretty, but dont need this tacticum reload style which we alread have for guns like the AVT.

Sure, but I guess someone will tell us that people will exploit because no more exploits.

I disagree on the reload animations. Yes, “tacticool” reload animations suck big donkey balls, but the animations can be greatly improved by looking more realistic, which means removing all the “tacticool” animations already in the game (Stg44 or FG42 for example), it would be a good thing to see the soldier PRESSING THE RELEASE CATCH OF THE MAG, because there are very few examples of animations where the soldier does this, as if the mag was just floating on the gun and not attached to it.
When emptying bolt-action rifles, you can see bullets in the chamber, but the gun is supposed to be empty. Same for the bolt-actions, when you reload and the mag isn’t empty, shouldn’t a bullet fly from the chamber ?
In that case, shouldn’t the soldier put his hand on top of the bolt to avoid the bullet flying off ? Or should he let the bullet fly away (only in animation, you don’t lose ammo of course), so when you have only one bullet left in the chamber, you can then reload with a full clip because the last bullet will have flown away ?
You can see that there is stil room for A LOT of improvements in the animations department.

For the medic, as I said above, in the game Isonzo there are no limits on the number of uses of the medkit, but it will never fully heal you. If you want to be fully healed, one of your squadmates (or just an allied player, I don’t clearly remember) must heal you, so that’s kind of a “medic role”. That could be a good idea for Enlisted. But then, we should find another use for the medkit box.
It would be a good thing if the AI medics could also be more useful by healing all the allied soldiers (teammates and other AIs) that are close to them, because the AI medics feel kind of useless right now, and it could make them a bit more useful.

But you don’t need to pull the pump even there are a shotgun shell in the chamber of shotgun.

They have requirements for bots in Enlisted :astonished:? The only requirement I’ve seen is that they have a death wish.

yeah i mean i don’t want tacticool reload animation but there are a lot of logic wrong for reload animation like all tube feed shotgun.

It’s not only the shotguns that have such bad animations. Some pistols too for example.

Yeah. Static decaying marks for vehicles (+ emplacements) would actually be more thematic, give a chance to maneuver for vehicles and vs. mouse aim nose wiggling aircraft marking foolishness.

Why isn’t this popular? It’s a pretty good suggestion.

Wait aren’t these mutually exclusive?

High TTK (which I like) = guns feel powerful.

Low TTK (like CoD, white markers for 2 minutes before enemy dies) = guns feel like they are shooting paper balls.

I enjoyed TTK in BF6 beta but the maps are indeed so tiny that every room or street has at least 10 enemies, making life expectancy 20 seconds.

Mate cod ttk is extremely high smgs/lmgs and some rifles feel like paintball/nerf guns you need to put way too many bullets to kill a single person i hate new cods so much.

Ofc there are few cods that have lower ttk (like Black ops 1/cod4 which i really liked playing in mp). You need to play hardcore to make your guns feel good in newer cods.

Ok maybe there’s confusion between high and low.

I like fast ttk. Like in BF6. Two-three bullets and dead.

I don’t like slow ttk. Like in CoD videos with bullet sponge enemies, armor, sliding and jumping during firefights.

The only proper way how to play any modern CoD/BF game is hardcore mode.

BF/CoD games that doesn’t have hardcore mode are hard pass.

BF6 is so pathethic. You don’t even need to see the enemies. The spotting system will mark them for you.

Like what’s the point then.

Except it was never the case for me, soldiers needed 5-7 bullets to die. Or maybe netcode was so crap that i couldn’t kill them like in Enlisted. They need to do a lot of work to make game playable that beta was a disaster.
