We don’t even have enough player to make hard rule ±1 br match making. Let alone separate queue.
Is that really true though? Personally I think we could have strong BRs its just DF cant be bothered. (also if players are struggling against high tier weapons they might be persuaded to pay for premium tech to counter it)
Tbh dev doesn’t even need to change anything if we really have enough player. Since the soft rule will always apply. But this is not the case for now.
That’s what they’ve been doing so far. And so far it’s fine.
The problem is that right now they add one or two new toys to the TT and that’s it for quite some time, sometimes they’re German, sometimes they’re Italian. Same goes for the US TT. In general there’s little Italian and British stuff, as the developers usually focus more on the US or Germany.
If there were separate TTs for those countries, they’d be forced to keep the faction alive and we’d probably end up seeing a lot more stuff for those countries added and more frequently too.
And to keep unrealistic stuff away, they could treat this TT as “minor”. So maybe it wouldn’t be necessary to get to BR 5 with them, just like Japan before the late-game junk they added.
Nah dude you are golden 20 round mags are from ww1 for lee enfield and seeing turner SMLE is conversion of Lee-enfield it would probably be able to use that mag

They can barely add stuff for current faction without delays. It’s not like adding a new faction will magically give them the ability to add more stuff in game. The current faction player will be unhappy because they will receive less stuff. The new faction player will also be unhappy because dev can’t produce those stuff quick enough.
Japan already had a bunch of prototypes even before those stuff was added.
Yes!!! thanks mate!!!
In that case i demand 20 round Turner rifle
Tank designers didn’t design tanks with barrels longer than the tank’s hull until 1941 when Germany broke the ice with the Panzer III J1 and IV F2. The British being conservative tried to stick to this rule as long as possible even though it has no real tactical advantage.
I’m pretty sure it’s not about what they can or can’t do, it’s about what they want to do.
There are a lot of fixes and changes that should be very easy to implement, but it’s been years and they’re still there.
But at the same time, they keep adding game-changing mechanics like APCs, paratroopers, guerrillas, etc. that are objectively harder to implement and nobody asked for them.
Keeping a few more TTs shouldn’t be a problem. They don’t want to do it now, that’s the thing.
Well you sure the one who fix stuff are the one who make new weapon and vehicles in game?
You can’t just suddenly grab a guy and tell him to do something that he is not responsible to do.
Lol those were all suggested on forum before.
Of course, I’m not sure, I know that the ones making the maps are not the same ones making the mechanics and such.
Still, you talk like 80% of British and Italian TT isn’t already in the game or needs more than just copy-pasting from War Thunder.
The work is already done at least up to BR 3 for those two countries. It’s a lot less work than it probably took to make Japan, but they did it that time.
Maybe in some twisted way DF took those suggestions. Either way I don’t remember reading any suggestions about guerrillas. Quite the opposite actually.
Sometimes a suggestion is made and it barely gets any attention among the community, but the devs somehow decided to follow it instead of listening to the entire player base. I don’t think that’s good at all.
The stuff in game aren’t enough to make a viable tech tree.
It is not pure copy pasting, they still need to implement it into the game. I am still not seeing the super pershing that they promised 10 months ago.
They made Japan at the period that they can just copy paste stuff for other campaigns and there was still stockpile stuff that can be used.
There was suggestion about class that has similar function but different name.
Anyway, there was definitely many suggestions about APC and paratroopers.
