Some para suggestions - Love / Hate them they staying

First and foremost I think they are a great, but on spawn it would be useful to see enemy direction arrow, as it is easy to get disorientated, maybe thats intentional.

Also in a group it would be good to know where my teammates are dropping, if the para waypoint could be displayed to people in same group we can coordinate locations better, instead on back left or behind the barn…

Now some of you may object but I do think cap times for Paras should be reduced slightly,

Also I do think maybe an limit to dropping right on cap? At least ensure Paras are on the ground and can’t cap on the roof.

Cap time is for faction not squad, there’s is no sense in reduce cap time for single squad, why dont reduce cap time for every effective squad at this point

This is not needed, what is needed is the paratrooper plane allied or enemy need the marker for identify him and some more seconds of fly time

A slightly wider dispersion area. It wouldn’t be a hindrance if you drop out in a forest, but it would help prevent people from ninja dropping onto specific buildings and towers. Maybe a restriction on dropping directly over an objective. Should probably remove their ability to ignore the spawn timer as well, though I’m not sure that isn’t just a bug.

The squads should probably also be capped at 1 or 2 per army.

No limits please, nothing wrong with Paras themselves, as for reducing cap times, I think they might need to be an exception and not just reduce cap time for faction but only Paras any side.

I like idea of dispersion, longer visibility and marker too, although you can mark the sky if you mark a para.

You can’t spawn early when you have a longer spawn timer from commiting suicide anymore, but I’m pretty sure that I’m still skipping sub 10 second spawn timers with them.

problem I have with how paratroopers were implemented in this game is that they are applied so wrong into the game

a paratrooper was about getting behind enemy lines, not jumping into the middle of a heated battle or on top of the enemies heads in immediate fire fight, that was rarely the case except when the drops were affected due to other factors

it’s just dumb that players can literally jump on top and into the middle of fire fights as paratroopers, it’s like some kind of futuristic crap injected into a game based on historic foundations

they literally grey out most of the map and you can’t drop behind enemy lines except in perhaps one mode, but even that isn’t really behind the lines, it’s more like on top of their spawns, which is just as bad

don’t even get me started on the behind enemy lines section of the map not even showing up on the screen :rofl: it’s a total joke

When we got the paratroopers in this last event, I thought we would only get one of the weapons and have to buy the rest, I thought we would have to level up the troops and unlock each perk, and I thought we would have to level up the squads, nope, it was all done and finished, a wasted opportunity…did they even bother adding new perks for the paratrooper specifically?

just another reason among many stacking reasons why I am getting closer and closer to ditching this game

it’s just comically arcade beyond recognition these days, and keeps moving away further and further from an authentic experience and becomes more of a joke with each change, like the new system that is splitting the battles according to preset equipment loadout tiers, what a total joke

hey boys, we off to fight the Germans, what loadout you bringing with you? I got my m2carbine boy, oh well, we can’t fight together, you have to go to a different battle with that loadout my friend you’re on the wrong boat, but we are in the same unit and trained for this, nope, command has decided you and I have to fight different enemies according to their weapons, because they asked them nicely to tell us which areas they have which weapons
