This one is not for MP-40 magazines. I only heard that these two cartridges have the same case bottom, which simplifies conversion to German cartridges. Is it really possible to simply load a PPSh magazine with 9 mm cartridges?

To insert the MP-40 magazine into the PPSh. It needs to be modified in the field. In a regular PPSh, even the drum for another PPsh wouldn’t fit , and each drum needed to be filed down.
Made a lot of work with excel too. Hate it. Hate tablets

Yes, I know that special adapters were made for MP-40 magazines. That’s why I was surprised that this particular one accepts 9mm without it.
As far as I heard, this myth arose because some PPD magazines were mixed in with PPSh magazines. And to make a PPD magazine work properly with a PPSh, it needs to be modified with a file.
