Some help with aircraft camera controls

Hi guys,

Just wondering if I could get some tips on the camera controls while flying aircraft. I am on Xbox and messing around with it isn’t getting me very far, partly because there are so many key binds and many are double bound which blocks some of them working which makes troubleshooting a nightmare. So just wanted to see what people are already successfully using.

  1. Camera control during mouse aim mode. What do you use? (note, not talking about the mouse aim axis, but a separate camera axis).

  2. Centering the camera after moving (while not using mouse aim). War Thunder does this automatically (gawd, I wish we could get WT aircraft controls here) but in Enlisted when I move the camera it just gets stuck where it was and is nearly impossible to get back and even if I get close, it’ll somehow be “loose” whenever I pull some G’s. By that I mean it’ll just dip into my instrument panel. I love a little heads-down flight or IFR in War Thunder sim but in Enlisted it’s a bit of a pain.

Previously this community has given great help! Hope someone can help me and share their settings.

Hi, Not sure if you can do this on console - but try binding a button to the ‘modifier’ (?) for camera movement - ie a button you need to hold down while moving the freelook camera - when you release the button your view will reset to centre. This is the only workaround I could figure out.
