Some event squads missing additional Engineer/AT gunner

Both the silenced sten and silenced MP40 assault squads are missing the additional trooper in the current beta build.

Im aware theres a case made that they alrady have enginner/at available, however the very similar premium squads of Federov MG/MG42 early dont have this issue, infact you can run them as 3x enginner MG squad after this change (which is great!)

Can we just have consistency? Here I dont see a reason for the even squads to be cut out of this upgrade, since they classify as assaulters.

Honestly might as well just make Premium squads customizable and we can have whatever squad composition we want

That’s basically impossible thanks to spaghetti code.

That’s why they are adding bonus slots and not just another premium soldier.

Silenced event squads doesn’t have new slot since they already have AT gunner + Engineer. They should get new slot for MG/Sniper/Radioman/2nd Engineer

again too complicated, and again as in the OP, we have premium squads with dual engineers who are now getting a 3rd engineer. Theres nothing wrong with simply extending current function to these 2 squads.

oh dont get me started with riflemen or even premium medics… Yeah they need work

Im just pointing out inconsistency in this current regard of assaulters since they prob wont get another look over for a bit

Spaghetti code. They want to standardize the squads, (a very good idea!) but technical problems make it impossible. They would have to add a premium soldier with silenced sten and silenced MP40, but technically they can’t do that.

Same with premium squads with 9 soldiers, they can’t swap a premium soldier for an engineer.

It looks like they can’t modify/add/remove premium soldiers in any way.

I don’t think there is a technical issue with modifying the premium squads as much as there is potentially a legal issue because those squads are paid for. Adding to them is fine but modifying them would lead to some angry nerds raising lawsuits. I am not a code writer, what would I know. I do know how mad people get for “changes to their purchase” though

Battle pass is a service. Premium squads are assets on your account. Huge difference

As FLAG said, these squads already have these troopers, this would add a basic soldier like current premium/event squads.

No the change currently in patch affects EVERY single premium assaulter and MG squad.
Im actually talking about event squads here, literally f2p stuff.

Majority of premium/event did get AT gunner.

Squads that did not get the AT gunner are stalingrad medics, radio squads and rifleman squads.
