Some changes to Tech tree to balance

One of the reason why Allies is most attractive option right now in comparison to others like Soviet, Germany, and Japan is because some things that you get for free in the tech tree earlier than these factions.

Allies gets:

  • Engineer 2 early in Tier 2 while rest of the factions gets it at Tier 3 except Japan that sadly gets it in Tier 4.
  • Free flamethrower tank that shatters teams easily
  • Gets a medic in rifleman squad tree while rest of the factions don’t even have one

Solution:

  • Move Allies Engineer 2 to Tier 3, while downgrade Engineer 2 on Japanese tree to Tier 3
  • Make M3 stuart Flamethrower another premium tank just like other Flamethrower tanks
  • Let us have medics too!

  • free AA truck
  • free tank with a Heat rounds
  • free BR2 plane with a 500kg bomb at BR2

a very bad idea, game already has too many premiums if anything they should add more free stuff for other nations, they locked up too many unique but also commonly used vehicles behind a paywall, even WT is not that greedy

Well they have to because a lot of times in BR 1-2 Germany, you get burnt to crisp very easily by that free vehicle that can also self defend.

Then give those nations free flamethrower tanks too. You don’t need to remove one of the very few free unique vehicles. What’s next are you going to take my AA trucks and turn them premium?

Is M8 the only one? Suppose removing them because they really don’t have any AP rounds

AA trucks are just paper mache vehicle, it can stay unlike the M3 that is pretty op in BR 1-2

Dude that thing’s literal paper. A Sturmpistole 2 tapped me less than 5 minutes ago (Bolt Action kill requirement sent me to BR I for 3 matches) it’s not the killer you think it is

Do you seriously think new players know how to check the tree to know when they get Engie II’s?

This barely affects anything lol, engineer 2 is not even a meta squad.

Lol the flamethrower tank with very limited range. I barely see anyone using it.

It has 18m range compared to the premium ones with 43m, it has almost no impact on matches

shatters? when? where? why havent i seen this tank in a long time if it is as OP as you say?

who cares? you wont be equipping 2 engineer squads anyhow and only advantage engie 2 has over engie 1 is mg nest, which is very rare ingame. you will more often see hmg built than mg nest.

I don’t think there is a need for engineers to move
Japan’s progress bar is the shortest

Only bad players would allow these ground vehicles to massacre friendly forces at close range
To be honest
If you can’t even use TNT, flame bottles (aiming engines), and anti-tank rifles to fight back
Then you are really bad

I remember slaughtering western allies on low BR with Germans. Its usually the Soviets that often have a veteran bullying noobs with KV-1 or pps42 spam.
EU servers, afternoon.
Is the experience much different in other time zones and servers?
Its high BR US is dominating because T20, Stinger and P-47.

18 m range maybe but don’t forget you have an antitank gun and 2 mg unlike the other one.
this thing is a beast in good hand. you can just do everything it’s so nice to play with. definlty the best tank BR 1

At least better than Engineer 1 by mg nests that people will build

Barely anyone build it since you can build heavy mg that is way better than it. Not to mention many of them building mg are using event/premium squad instead of engineer 2.
