When the Solothurn was added I was very disappointed to see it lacked a scope, it’s unlikely that the Devs will update the guns model to give it a scope and this may also ruin it for other players.
So I suggest:
•release a event version of this gun with it’s scope and give it it’s German designation to set it apart “Panzerabwehrbüchse 785 (s)”
•this would also allow people who didn’t buy the battle pass a way to experience the same gun

I mean we still need a TT version of it at some point, so that could work there.

Perhaps but I think the standard variant would of been the best fit for the tech tree, but since now it’s a BP weapon it’ll make it hard to implement it into the tech tree.
the dumb bipod mechanic would make some sense too if S18/100 had a scope.
Oh I 100% agree, but its not unlike this shitshow to keep adding weapons as event or BP items that really had ought to be tech tree items.
Personally, the way I’d go about adding the Solothurn to the tech tree would be to give the scope to the current BP variant and then put a scope-less variant in the tech tree but name it “Panzerabwehrbüchse 785 (s)” as that’s what it would of been called in German service.
I would be fine with a scope, but I would be more fine if I could fire the damn thing standing up. Having to lay down limits the places you can fire it, and it is still lighter then the Japanese Type 97, so if the Japs can fire theirs from a standing position, why can’t the Germans?
A scope would be great, I used mine as a sniper rifle yesterday without a scope, and it was awesome. 
However, a scope would double that feeling. 
This is a good idea as the Americans already have a scoped bazooka at fairly low BR.
that would be perfect, but good luck convincing the devs with that, lest the Chi Ha, the most used japanese tank, was made a now removed premium?
