I can barely even hear the soldier that I am playing as yell. Their voices sound like a whisper. Could we up the volume for the soldier’s war cry? I would like to see a reason for players to spam I at the beginning of matches if you know what I mean.

I cannot relate to your problem. I always heard them quite clearly. Definitely doesn’t sounds like whispering.

When I first mapped out and tried this function I thought the whole squad would shout but it’s just the soldier you control. Pretty lame so I don’t even bother with it. You shouldn’t either honestly, waste of a key/button

Yeah it’s not really impressive. But it might be because of the gun sounds or bombs.

My volume is all the way up; they just sound like mice.
If you can’t hear the difference, you can’t hear, or you are a burner account for one of the devs.

I would say that, too, but I do it at the beginning of every match when there aren’t gunshots, and I barely hear anything. Listen to the audio on this vid.

Yes, they sound like they are 50 ft away from me
I can hear my soldier when he charges; he screams really loud, but specifically when I press the button I, the war cry is super quiet for no reason.

Generally sound design is weird.
Once I had a situation where I spawned, run forward and was like “where is everybody?”. Then I looked at the map to realise I’m in front of the 50 man charge. I didn’t hear a thing. They were like ghosts.
It could have been so epic but it was so underwhelming.

do these warcries can be heard by the enemy? i am always afraid that one day some sharp eared dude hear my units screaming and just lob a grenade at me.

Soldier war cry get nerfed in the summer of the 2021 idk why, but imo probably someone complained that was offensive or something on this line…

Not in this game; only when they charge, I think you can hear them. War Crys are different for some reason. I would love to sneak behind a camper and spam war cries and then knife them though.

Although I admit it could be a bit more to add to the atmosphere, I usually hear enemies talking in urban areas. (Mostly Berlin). It’s nice when I hear them, but mostly I can identify the enemy by the sound of the guns and, unfortunately, not by the native language. So for me, a guy that picks up enemy guns can do a lot of harm to my playstyle as I assume some of my teammates are just next door, just to find out that it was the enemy with a picked up weapon bashing me in no time.
