I think it would be great if all equipment equipped were displayed on the soldiers with them, the only one that has this effect is the backpack slot. Although, there are flasks modeled for all nations, and binoculars, axe and shovel, pistol holter, and random bags. Grenades could be just hanging on the belt or whatever and medkits have a first aid modeled for the us, but they could be just some random bag or whatever.
They even have specific ammo pouches for types of ammo modeled, that could be linked to the equipped weapon. It wouldn’t break the appearance customization options, bc it’s the only way to choose other suits and specific setups. But it would make the standard soldiers a lot more versatile.
