Soldier levelled up, changing perks w/o Enlisted Gold

Hi all

Quite new here, apologies for the question. I levelled up a soldier (rifleman to max. Level 5) and want to assign the right perk points such as 35% vitality etc.

Enlisted suggests a set of perks which are completely useless. In order to change them, I would have to spend Enlisted Gold (I don’t have any).

How can I change the perks on a maxed out soldier so that they fit my preference?

Thanks!

You don’t have to spend gold at all. Just click the perk you want to get rid of and do extra steps that are easy but I don’t remember them. This perk will be deleted and your sokdier will loose one golden star (not his max stars though). You will have to grind the star again to choose the perk (but you don’t have to spend any cards nor gold).
You can even remove all the perks if you want to.

Don’t spend gold on this. You can delete any perk you want for free.
You will just have to farm the exp again.

Juste Left click on the perk.

And press OK.

It will be deleted. Your soldier will stay the same level.

Throughout the time you play as well, you get soldier EXP cards, which I find to be most useful to use on a level 5 soldier since you have the maximum soldier stats and you get the maximum EXP payout. It makes retraining a bit faster since you just drop the perk you don’t want and then refill the star.

So long as you have those EXP cards, just something to keep an eye on

Thanks for your replies chickydoodles, upolaf and VoyoMayPL!

That should answer it, I just accept the proposed perks and will then change them… Currently levelling up new squads (engineer and AT), the hassle starts again!
