I was wondering if some tweaks could be made to the soldier´s appearance. For now, I think it´s a little bit messy, and some polish and tweaks could improve the authenticity.
For example, the Soviet soldier has about to choose from around 15 choices of clothing in the Rzhev theatre, with each clothing having either a backpack or support equipment attached to its uniform.
If the actual equipment of the soldier could actually match his clothing, it would be cool. Like when the soldier has a backpack equipped, it would actually be physically attached to him. This also applies to other equipment, meaning that having an ammo pack equipped, for example, the player would actually see it on their uniform.
I would love to see a Soviet assault squad in snowy winter uniform, but for now, I can´t because the actual snowy uniform is coded to have a backpack attached to it.
One more thing I noticed is that the Soviet soldiers don´t have model helmets with the actual strap around the neck, only winter helmets, which is a pity.
This is my suggestion, what do you think?

This is already in game. Same for ammo pouches. Although they are removed/replace if you buy any custom uniforms, instead of the default uniform.
But it would be good if pouches changed depending your current weapon and improvements to customisation are 100% needed.

Indeed, some uniform models have the actual matching, but only a few, which is a pity.
I noticed, quite a lot of Soviet uniforms have the binocular attached to them even though the soldier is not equipped with it. These are just the details I am talking about…

The backpack part, yes, but otherwise the system is at best… inconsistent at its current state. I’d like the ammo pouches to be determined by the weapon of the soldier, what if I want those grey coat for German soldiers in the Moscow campaign for other troops that don’t use SMGs? I don’t want STG mags for all my assaulters either in other campaigns either.

People are crying for similar changes for years. You honestly haven’t come up with anything new.
I’m one of those who would really appreciate something like that (people don’t even understand how big a game changer for me was addition of more camo options to tanks)
But realistically, don’t expect the customization in Enlisted to get any significantly better. You’d just get more and more frustrated by such expectations.

Keep asking for changes you dearly want to see, spread awareness of it on every major post (just like ErikaKalkbrenner does on almost every major post), the fight is only over when you stop fighting for it!
I’ll keep asking for full sub-faction support through the tech-tree until the day it actually happens. Why? Because I didn’t hear no bell…
