So why no ME262 again?

I mean i dont get it, is it because the gray zone for aircraft is too small? if so just enlarge it. Also i think this one would be nice

no, if its to fast to fit the game make it slower lol

What is the point of it? It would be like a way more annoying to use Fw 190 D-12 (which is already almost unusable half the time lol)

Map’s too small

i dont think map is the problem man i just think the fear of ME262 is real

i mean it bad at turning already which is apparently huge for plane

Not really sure if map size would really be a problem but i think it is more of a mindset that jets dont belong into WW2 even thought the 262 had its maiden flight in mid 1942 which is kinda insane.
Still production only really kicked of in 1944 which i guess make it somewhat late for the war but if devs allow stuff to be added that only was tested post war this really should not matter.

it would be just easier target than most german planes. ffs 28 seconds turn time is insanely slow vs 15-20 seconds that most planes get.

Because that is a bomber interceptor.

There are two important problems:
The first problem is that early jets don’t have good turn time which is most important dogfight stat in this game.
The second and more obvious problem is that only Germany and Britain had mass produced jet fighters and only Germany used them in aerial combat. So Japan and USSR will need to get some weird prototype because players in Enlisted need 1:1 symmetrical balance.

Japan had a Me-262 look alike while USSR has nothing that flew before 1946 (only when they captured German jet engines)

if they actually implement those turn times, they will be so bad that i think people will be ok without direct counterpart. although there will always be some mains that will cry how those planes are unfair…

As a guy who played WT, the last thing we want is the SU-11, that thing was the surge of the sky when it came out

so faster speed, better turn times and much better climb rate… totally symmetrical. :upside_down_face:

And that’s supposed to be a problem? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I’m really sick of the pointless powercreep. Ages ago, way before the merge and even Tunisia old campaigns were pretty sick to play because they were so…well defined and distinct…then the devmans started just appending more and more powercreep weapons

It was fun having to use crappy tanks, early airplanes, bolt actions and at most mediocre semiauto rifles in Moscow - with russians being limited to the PTRD/PTRS the crappy tanks also stood somewhat a chance. In Normandy you’d use an actual M1 Garand vs G41’s/G43s, you actually had a chance to beat something like a 109 G-6 with the P-47 if the enemy goofed up

But they’d just keep adding and adding and adding. Some P4s would be completely imprevious to the PTRS from the front. Normandy got the FG 42 and the Tiger…things like that. And the matches would get goofy - unless you had someone good at flying (and the enemy was stupid enough to never build an AA gun) D Day would just be being farmed on the beach by two untouchable Tigers on the hill

And now we are slowly going back into same meta - one side gets some toys, everyone piles onto that side, people start complaining…other side gets some other silly toys to keep up/outpowercreep…rinse and repeat
Eventually the game will either hit BR compression (arguably already here, given that people with crappy M1 Garands with 8rnd en-bloc clips that for some reason have the worst movement dispersion can get turbostomped by FG422/StG44/Magical Full Auto Hei hordes) or go back to ever more population fragmentation with more and more BR brackets
