Solo players playing against stacks is the by far biggest balance issue in the game. When is it going to get fixed?

How many stacks you think there are? They’d wait 5 years just to find a full match

Im fully fine with people who squad up and then dogpile on the most overpopulated faction having to wait 5 years for a match.
You shouldn’t even be able to queue for a specific faction with 3 or 4 stack at all.
It wouldn’t be such a problem if they got sent to the weak faction to help balance the matches, 3 to 4 coordinated players is basically enough to make the match an even fight

Then send them over to full PVE if there’s no matching stack to fight against.
If you stack up in enlisted public queue, it’s not like you’re looking for a challenging fight anyway. Might as well let the stacks farm bots instead of solo players.

well i would not say biggest… we also have full team vs relatively empty team, pc team vs console team and general veteran players vs shit players…
while stacks are the problem, in bigger picture they actually contribute to smallest imbalance %.
I think it depends on the zoom level.
I’d say that stacks have the potential to create the biggest imbalance issue on an individual match level. If you face 4 good players stacked up it will most likely be an absolute massacre where your team has no chance.
Everything else has just a lower probability on individual match to cause the same effect - so given enough matches it will eventually happen eg. you match with a totally op veteran team randomly while playing an underpopulated faction, but not with the same consistency.
I dunno, for me there is nothing more infuriating than getting matched into completely non-sentient USA team and seeing 4 APCs drive into the cap zone and instantly cap it
then 4 para drops grab the next one
then you somehow stabilise the next point and its two KTs covered by flak guns doing PvE to my team
you can’t flank, you can’t build a rally without it getting immediately run down. You win a dogfight and the other guys immediately flak you or spawn a fighter up your ass
With imbalanced but unorganised teams you might at least have a chance
Also, why not both? We could walk and chew gum at the same time - disallow 3/4 stacks for specific factions and not let people dogpile the factions by having uncapped queue times
yes in individual match they can create big imbalance, but you have relatively few of those matches compared to normal match where all other imbalance issues actually come to play. also sometimes you are not even playing against/with stack(even though it feels like it), but against/with lots of veteran players in solo vs brainless noob team.
