Who is talking about that? A2 BAR is literally on the same BR and it superior in basically every aspect. Great weapon.

thing is borderline useless unless you have the rare spec’d troop that has the right set of stats that allows it to not suck…

the ZB-26 is silly being at BR III

all mg’s need to be rebalanced and have working bipods anyway, some kind of red-orchestra system or something to “STRONGLY” encourage bipod use,

BAR 1918A2/Colt Monitor can compete with STG44 and still win half of the time because it’s that powerful and undertiered, only at longer distances it’s worse due of higher dispersion that don’t matter at closer distances. Johnson lmg is not that great becuse it has a recoil similar to base BAR but with higher rof which makes it even less bearable. Nobody is using M1918 since everyone can unlock superior A2 version just like with Axis ARs why would you use awful mkb42 if you can get STG44

ZB-26 is crap due of the chunkiness of all German lmgs (except BARs) you can’t use them to be as less mobile assaulter and storm the point you can only use them at defense or be at constant disadvantage while storming points due long ADS and bad dispersion (MG42 Early is an exception totally not p2w lol). A2 carrier will be already pointing at you and shooting before you will be able to aim your German LMG.

the ZB-26 deserve a huge buff but looking at how they released the Type 99 it seems they only want few LMG to be actually good at BR III.

the type 99 was added with the merge, so it is fairly new gun unlike the ZB-26. Yet both guns in terms of balance are pretty similar so it means in DF eyes the ZB-26 is ok, but at the same time you have stuff like the BAR A2 and Type 96 which are much superior to most BR III LMG ingame.
