you will learn that tech related people(marketing and CEOs) use buzz words constantly to stay in trend. companies will claim to use latest tech even if it doesnt have any use in their product or even if they dont have capability to develop the product. at that time machine learning/AI was extremely popular…
It’s now more popular than ever. And it’s not like they are not using AI as they do with their portraits that get generated not by hand but through algorithms.

Devs don’t want us to play customs thats why they never cared about the modders and their desire to have actual support same goes to the “competitive community” which they fear Even more why?
Because they know they Will loose players on the Main gamemode so they are doing anything that they can for dragging into pointless public games
difference is that they are using other people AI and not their own. AI is currently money pit and everyone involved in it is burning money in hope of future profitability. making bots slightly smarter wont really give them profitability…
they might do something crazy like make the FG-42 into an infantry rifle
than crazy players would talk about how the T20 is fake but the FG-42 and FG-42 2 are so real.
