Nothing in my comment was elitist at all….just calling it like I see it.
The recent influx of older gen console players is an example. Very few will stick around, they are trying the game out because it just became available. Some will stay and level up and many will move on quickly and be replaced by other new players. That’s just the way it works….Now, go suck on a lemon
I’m max level and I hate it, half of the reason I played was leveling my soldiers now I have enough to just rank 5 them all and be done.

Uhmm, what do you mean 6-10 soldiers a month? Battle pass thing gives you like a few every day, once the event is over. Also, looks like you may get Silver orders in Daily tasks as well.
Also, I think things will change somewhat, so just hang on probably.
I was exaggerating with the number, yet you don’t get more than a very few soldiers with the free battle pass, and you don’t get the daily, but every x amount of days, and the amount of orders are simply not enough to outfit an squad in a month, that is simply a fact, specially with lvl 2+ soldiers. Also to get those orders you will need to play daily, which is going to be something many will simply not do. And if those players quit, the player base will start shrinking instead of growing, which in turn will kill the game faster than it should.
Battle pass gives iirc 2 silver troop orders every 4+ levels. That’s 1 soldier every 2 days, not a few every day.
counted the total amount of silver soldier orders you get in the battle pass that you can get without paying, it is 14, so unless you are fitting a low level squad, in two months you wont be able to equip, two low level squads or a single high level one, which is of course very bad
Maybe just allow people to change 10 bronze cards for 1 silver card? Or something along those lines

I also think this change is very bad, especially for new players. I mean, the veterans
(like myself) probably have enough soldiers in reserve to be able to fill up our squads, but how is a new player expected to fill up theirs?
Some will say ‘by grinding hard’, but not every player wants to grind for a game they don’t know if they will continue to play.
Personally I think this change will push away newer players, witch is obviously bad for the entire player base. So I would advocate reverting the change, because right now, filling up new squads is just impossible for newer members of the community.
so let a new player to the game put this into perspective for the lot of you, months ago before i needed to pay $10 a month to complete more then 3 daily tasks. i started playing enlisted. and quickly realized how big the grind would be if i wanted to play several campaigns. because of this, i only play the normandy invasion campaign, and i almost always only play as the americans. i got to level 7 in the campaign, got the engineer, rifleman, sniper squads all maxed out and with upgraded guns such as the m1 garand and m14. but then i stopped playing. now i have come back, and my experience with this new system for getting troops. . . . . . i started playing the tunesia campaign, and within 10 matches, i have 4 squads that can have additional soldiers and specialists. overall i need like 8 more men to fill out these squads, and guess how many troops i can get. . . . . 1. soooooooo how do i progress in the game at all without being FORCED to spend money? in 10 more games ill need something like 12-15 men to fill out my squads. and ill have like 1-2 more cards. this is a system that WILL kill this game over time, as the rich people buy everything, and the people who are forced to grind endlessly with underpowered units because they cannot get new troops quit the game. the population will slowly go down. because now you also HAV E to focus your grind on only 1 campaign or you will not have enough troop cards to fill out squads by a LONG SHOT.
