A little example what coordinated team of engineers can do when working together:
Proper baricade on one of the Berlin streets
(Rally points were of course set and ready for the team too near the current point)

what if i tell you, that on that first objective, you as GE player can make a spawn point less than 20 mts away from it making the point almost uncontested.
i must report it as a bug fix as soon as possible tho ( )
Probably, 20 meters is definetely too much
Yeah that’s a good defence. If I was the attacker I’d be calling in Arty or Planes to deal with this.
They would do nothing against the hedgehogs. So T-34s would be blocked anyway.
Next time we’ll add some AT nad AA guns to the mix, so it will become even better.
indeed, which is why I mentioned that every side will need their engineers to overcome obstacle belts.
Good hedgehogs are criminally underrated.
Still testing my theory on wire placement, but I seem to be “cursed” in that every time I execute my elaborate barb wire plan, the attacking team runs out of tickets before they can encounter it.
HAHAHA I think tank barricades should can be destroyed whit explosives packs.
Sadly I’ve had the same. Either that or my engineer runs out of “build resources”
I’m not sure whether more “resources” are available from the supply crates, or is it just ammo ?
I might try in the next game and see if it works.
Definetely not.
They are fine now. Not everything needs to be destroyed by explosions, some things should require more brain to overcome.
Sadly not, but high level engineers can get a perk that gives them additional resources, so they have 28 instead of 20.
At what level are invisible bridges unlocked?
Please.
Too bad this got patched out:
This is not the same abuse. In my case, the wire is disassembled, after which the frame remains - and already on it I build. It still works. Also, every time the wire is built, it rises higher and higher.
You unlocked the ornithologist class.
Your method is actually good for building higher stack of sandbags for standing soldiers, thank you!
Two layers of broken wires then the bags.
Hello, this is “snek”,
I designed it with 3 layers(depends on size of bunker). First one consists of sandbag formations(mostly round shapes) filled with barbed wire as you can see in photo, second one consists of grenade catching holes, third layer is where are AAs, ammo and soldiers(haven’t unlocked MG nests yet).
just to recap: it takes long time to build, can withstand 1-3 TNT blasts(im usually near enterance and catch grenades falling inside)before hurting the defenders and AA can be manned by someone responsibe (usually my friend), all guys I play with say it is worth constructing (mostly on airport map and D-Day map) because you can seal doors on these maps so hole in roof is only way in. In invasion it can hold up to 800 reinforcement points if defended well. "snek"s i posted before were constructed only by me so when you have whole squad, it can be really well built and defended PS: sorry for my english, I’m not native speaker.
Fellow engineers, can someone please tell me how to build this? I forgot to ask the enemy engineer before shooting him into the barrels, but I regret it…
This is a masterpiece. Built up so high that the wooden structure of the church almost fully protected his back. (It’s quite easy to get to the top of it.)
