So, optics on StG? (Gun Jesus's video)

In case you’ve missed the video.

Imo quite interesting.

You know the scoped STG is in the game already?

Did I write about anything related to the game?

I just shared a video talking about a common ww2 myth (I dare to say).

If I’d listened carefully, you’d know it was tragic to use.
It would make sense if all the flaws in the design were introduced.

They tested, but did not put into production.

Another option is to have attachments increase the weapon’s BR.

Something like this is automatic releted to the game, just wait…

The world technology was still not sufficient for make full auto scoped sniper rifle, and germany lack of resources not helped to

So if i attach a scope to a kar i go directly aganaist some sweetlord? Lmao what kind of balance is this

I mean mounting optical sights, modern or post-war collimators on weapons or prototypes from the early years of the war that were never put into mass production or were introduced at the end of or after the war.

Another option is that the optical scope is a sniper’s weapon equipment.

He also says that there were exceptions towards the end.

In any case he’s just trying to shill that rip off giveaway.

No, putting a scope on your Kar98 would lower your BR, since you will now need longer to reload.

Reload time really isn’t the most important stat on BA, especially on sniper rifle.

Nothing of the sort - the receiver was simply not solid enough to provide a steady scope mount - wasn’t designed for it, and spot welding one on was no a great solution.

For me it is, using a regular bolt action gives me the ability to wipe squads faster than with a scoped one, so I actually see no point in using such.

I don’t need a scope to kill targets at 100 meters distance.

If I wanted to wipe whole squad I would pick literally everything else than BA. (Since majority of BA rifles has only 5 shots in “magazine”, majority of squads are 6-9 guys)
But I guess some people are flexing by not using common sense. Classic BA bias.

I wouldn’t bother to snipe target that’s 100m away at all, since it’s completely pointless and just waste of time. Naturally I am speaking about infantry, 100m means nothing for vehicles.

That’s a pretty interesting statement - why would you not kill infantry 100m away?

I am not spawnkiller nor spawncamper.

Meaningless twaddle - there are plenty of cases where spawns are further away, and player built spawns can be closer so conveniently not covered by your ludicrous “morals”.

Try again - be convincing this time.

As I said, I think it’s complete waste of time. Maybe the only situation I could consider is when you are at winning end of battle as defender and you are hunting down rest of enemies.
I really don’t recall any situation I have to shoot over 50m, I would rather run to objective or defending it. Never encountered a situation when the biggest threat to me was 100m away.
