Why would you not like confrontation lol
It’s like the best mode in this game, by far
Any time I’m stuck “defending” with an enemy team that has 1-3 respawns for each player 15 minutes in I just dream it was confrontation instead

No, you’re just manipulatively presenting your assumption as fact.
One random screenshot of people deserting is not suitable evidence for the claim that people don’t like confrontation.
There are so many reasons and factors why people may want to desert.

I’ve never encountered anything like this before, so many people quitting before the game even starts…
(I might guess that they are bots, who were then replaced by real players and that’s why quit.
But I have no idea if they would then be seen in the scoreboard or not. I’ve never really studied nor cared about this)

I’m assuming based on your post that you were playing as Germany and were going up against the US (Unless I misunderstood your post). The enemy team probably deserted because they don’t want to play against Germany, they want to play the new Burma maps.
They only times I see mass desertion like this is for Conquest Mode (I myself desert every Conquest match I get, even if I get 7 Conquest matches in a row). Or if you are able to fast cap first objective a lot of the time the enemy team will just mass desert on higher BR’s.
never? this is pretty common whenever there is conquest on BRV for certain factions. it was rather common for train and sometimes for confrontation.
although not as many as 13 players here is recent screenshot of 7 deserters for conquest(me included)

why won’t they remove conquest I can’t comprehend
confrontation - there is actual strategy to the game, map control matters, flanking matters, both sides have tickets so you can actually punish the enemy for just moronically running into the blender by literally having them run out of tickets
conquest - just run around in circles doing egg hunt for enemy spawn points…or just lose because 9 of your teammates are incapable of holding a single point on their own so you are always bleeding tickets

well my biggest problem with confrontation that it is either too short or too long(well not so much recently). if there were balanced teams playing confrontation, it would be great mode, but with current unbalanced match situation it is pretty meh cause it is basically invasion but with only 3 caps.
It’s far better to have short match rather than long invasion match in which defending team is completely dominating.

uh…my confrontations barely ever end up as quick 3 caps lol. Maybe 5% of them do. I think I’ve had more actually go all the way to the last cap then all the way across. Usually they ping pong once or twice before I figure out exact dirty BS I need to pull to win
