For the streamers out there, or people that watch twitch streams of others.
How good is the streaming of this game?
Is the community chill?
It’s worth the time invested to do so?
It’s rewarding per month or it’s only worth in twitch drop events?
I might start streaming just because, I though if I play so many hours per day, why not streaming what I m doing in-game…
i’ll start by saying that i’m not a streamer ( despite failed attempts )
but, from what i see and saw during drops and normally,
people unfortunately are just there for the drops, not the streamer in question ( outside the few ).
you can notice numbers when during normal weeks, and during the drops.
alot of people ( like me in the past ) thinks that you just connect, stream and that is basically it.
but it’s not like that.
it requires alot of time, dedication and patience.
and perhaps in a few years ( or months .depends ) you’ll start to " shine ".
depends what do you mean by " rewarding ".
perhaps i suggest you to use youtube for that.
because if you get bored, you can change at any time and you don’t have to be consistent with uploads unlike twitch.
but again, it really depends from your partnership ( if any ) and your spare time ( must be alot ).
although, any other streamers will answer better than me i suppose.
Rewarding on having some one to watch. Money isn’t my concern here.
And yeah, right now there are less than 50 people watching 10 or so streamers… So low population.
People are just interested in the drops
About time, yeah. I can’t do nothing untill my work computer processes the daily work so I usually have countless hours to spare during a work shift so I either read a book, play games or watch what ever I find over the internet.
If I upload to YouTube, I have no interest in editing the footage or render it. It will be raw footage with no commentary what so ever. And that might be too boring to watch so I don’t usually do it, even tho I have 200 kill games recorded on my ssd…
It’s there anything thar could make the game more popular on twitch, or overall it’s a boring game to watch and people are more interested in competitive games or games that require more skill or knowlage to be played?
i guess there is always someone somewhere that is interestred to watch enlisted ( perhaps because they can’t play the game ) although, as a free to play game, i don’t know. it’s a bit rough.
i guess it could work.
you’ll have to find someone for graphics, animation and mods to manage your chat.
( perhaps the last aren’t really necessary at the beginning when starting )
people that don’t do commentary or less editing, are less being watched.
unfortunately, it ain’t me telling that. but it is about stastic ( which you can look up for your self )
people usually watch for entairtain, but who knoes, you can pruve everyone that is wrong
there’s always a first time after all, no?.
i always do things in group.
so more minds behind it.
the problem are the people
some of them busy, others are lazy.
and that type of things.
i’ll try again with different people over youtube. this time, with an efficent team.
anyway,
now that i can think about it,
there are a few streamers that are active and might give you more technical datas ( which are also active in the forum )
He isn’t wrong at all though
I’ve tuned into a certain one that was on a rant about a few people familiar to me, several different days and times in fact
I won’t name any names or anything, but its very very peculiar
Yeah, but its nothing aside from some very suspect recoil and softlocking
Maybe looking through some walls
Shit like that
Shit you can test yourself and find to be peculiar
Streamers are honestly a glorified personality cult. Think Stalin level of personality cult just in modern times.
For FPS games, most streamers cheat. It’s why they are so “good” and most people perceive to be an unattainable level, because in every way, it is unattainable without cheating.
There’s several ridiculously popular spread out across a few games(Apex, CS:GO etc) that cheat in livestreams, I know exactly where they bought their cheat from, how they inject, when they inject, how long they use it, etc. I won’t name them as to not start unnecessary witch hunting.
But all in all, streamers for FPS games are complete scum on average. They’ll act as if they’re these super skilled players with a lot of knowledge that people can learn from, except you can’t, because they have small modifiers like reduced recoil, smooth aimlock. If you don’t know what “smooth aimlock” stands for, visually there’s very little differences between me dragging my mouse to an enemy, and the smooth aimlock doing it for me. You can see it if you know what to look for, but the average person has no idea what it even is, let alone how it works.
Now, don’t make the mistake of thinking that I’m saying every FPS streamer out there cheats, because that’s just false. There’s many that are legit, and at the same time, an unhealthy number of the very popular ones are in fact, cheating. It’s an on-going problem that no one can fix.
